Do not purchase for air travel!!
The product itself worked well but it was confiscated by airport security last week in Aukland, New Zealand. I had traveled with it through USA TSA at least three times prior with sometimes being questioned about it but always let through. I also traveled within Australia, to New Zealand, and within New Zealand. The explanation I got was because it does not have an "airplane" mode to turn it off, it could not be in the cabin but also it could not be checked because of the lithium battery. I tried to argue that it was like a powerbank with just an on/off but they said they were starting to crack down on this type of item more. I would not buy this for airplane travel!!! I did like the brush though - did a nice job taking out the frizz and styling quickly.
