Carpenter but never mitred coving so this was perfect.

Glad I could find this on Amazon, couldn't find one on a shop, and who wants to muck about coving with a regular mitre box, not me. Thoroughly recommend

Poorly made and not a quality item as stated
My mitre arrived broken, fortunately it was the end for a straight cut. Due to the wooden sides being very thin and subject to snapping off I drill through the base and into the side and used long screws to reinforce. The sides are only stapled onto the base so once again drilled through the side into the base and used long screws again to reinforce. Now the unit is strong and reusable. The instructions on the back were fairly good but need additional information re the ceiling edge, all to easy to cut correctly but up side down....other than that it worked well. Certainly not a quality item and therefore over priced.

weirdly, it works, even though the base is made from MDF board, very easy to cut into it, so don't how long it will last

Flimsy arrived broken
As other reviewers have said: The base is just thin hardboard and the sides are stapled into it. Mine arrived with one of the sides bent over so it will be returned. Not fit for purpose.

Absolutely rubbish.
Absolutely rubbish. Wood guides are too soft to direct the saw. Instead of guiding the saw it cuts a new channel. Both sides snapped on second use. Waste of money
