25 WILD DAY LILY BULBS(ROOT SYSTEM) (HEMEROCALLIS FULVA)

Unfortunately nothing rooted from any of the bulbs……. I ordered two orders. I’ve never had an issue growing anything really. I even operate my own small nursery. Sadly I did not see the slightest growth from any of these bulbs. This was my first and last bulb buying experience online.

THESE ARE NOT BULBS. THEY DO NOT HAVE A "ROOT SYSTEM". What came in the package is EXACTLY what is shown in the photograph. Are they seeds? Maybe. I don't know. They look like little specks of dirt. If they are seeds, there's more than 25 of them, but IT'S NOT WHAT I PAID FOR AND ORDERED AT ALL. NOT EVEN CLOSE!!! I have no idea what this unidentified substance in this little plastic bag is they sent me. Even if it is a seed, how am I supposed to plant something the size of a grain of sand? with no instructions? Even so, I can't make it any clearer how far off from what I ordered this is. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT BUY THIS NO MATTER WHAT THE PRICE. If you got bulbs, lucky you. If you look at other user reviews, you'll find some similar to mine. I've never felt so ripped off in my life. I admit to overpaying to some things in my life, getting poor quality items, etc., but this? I'm not only left feeling ripped off but dumbfounded. It got here a little late, no big deal, but I was expecting LILY BULBS NOT SPECKS OF AN UNIDENTIFIED SUBSTANCE IN A LITTLE PLASTIC BAG. Just...huh? what? Ummmmm, no. BUYER BEWARE AT ALL COSTS I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS.

I was surprised that the box shipped from China because I thought that this would require approval from an agricultural department first. I planted them recently and hope they come up when the weather warms in the spring. Too early to tell what they will be like. Was a very good price!

There's undoubtedly a place for the the compact lilies and the different-colored lilies and all the other variations, but if you want the tried-and-true original tiger-orange grows-by-the-side-of-the-road day lilies, these are the ones for you. They come bare root and every single one of them came up. A few of them even bloomed the first year. All of them bloomed the second year and they've begun to spread, as day lilies are wont to do. I've looked all over at nurseries for these, to no avail - they all have stella d'oro and goodness knows what other varieties, but never the original. If you like original old-fashioned orange day lilies, these are for you.

Beautiful bulbs with live growth ready to plant upon arrival. Nice and moist upon arrival, not dried out. Ready to plant. I can't wait till they grow and bloom! Wonderful memories of these planted in my grandmothers yard. We planted these in my grandsons (2 year old) flower garden. He loves to plant and watch his flowers grow! And decorate his garden with painted rocks and homemade bird houses etc lol. He is in charge of the flower garden! And checks his flowers every day! We like to plant bulbs because it's easier for little hands to help plant them... although we will have a bumper crop of peas this year he planted in the vegetable garden too lol

These came up with no issues and produced dozens of flowers. The flowers make a tasty treat as I am running out of the house. I would buy these again.

These did not come up and when I dug up a couple the bulbs weren't there. There was no disturbance of the ground as if an animal ate them, so I don't know what the problem was. They were carefully planted and, while small, arrived in good shape

I bought these a year ago, planted them in the wrong place thinking they were another kind of bulb that I had ordered, realized my mistake after a couple weeks, dug them up and replanted them in the proper place. They had already started sprouting. Nevertheless, they have done beautifully and I have been having many blooms this spring and summer. They are quite tall (waist to chest high) with large orange blossoms as in the photo. They are already reproducing themselves. Very satisfied with these bulbs!
