Good Kit, but can be better
First impressions (and updated after a good workout) Set-up: - I was very impressed with the feel of the snare, kick and tom's during set-up. These drums are solid, somewhat beefy which is good for the action they'll get. The mesh head response is great out of the box and can be tweaked. - The mounting frame is solid, but maybe undersized for expansion with another cymbal and/or tom - real estate may lack and warrant and-on hardware to support or balance. The Kit is scalable with connections for to additional Tom or Cymbal. This is a good feather to allow configuration based on playing style. I personally like the freedom to tweak the configuration. I prefer an additional cymbal and tom for my playing style and will make it work. - The cymbal hardware on the rack is adequate. A future upgrade could include adding telescoping/swivel arm for better cymbal positioning on the kit. - The Hi-Hat stand is okay for beginners, but a seasoned drummer will want a stable stand with fluid operation. (It's actually very responsive and provides realistic pedal action). - The Controller could be a little more high-tech. A larger screen would allow for easier navigation and improved tuning articulation and precision. - Bluetooth connectivity to an external music source is great! (I was able to quickly connect to my IPHONE for background tracks. - The included headset is a nice addition, however using a good studio headset changes everything. (The sound is output is awesome) - The included throne is flimsy. (Based on individual experience) Overall conclusion - I (really) like the feel of this kit. The sounds (VOICES) are promising (much better with good headphones) but takes a little time and patience to achieve. Great investment.

No More Air-Drums Needed
This is a great set and seems to be of great quality. The drum pads are responsive. I also love how I can jam to my favorite music without disturbing the rest of the house. Note that it is hard to hear from room to room, but vibration will translate to a floor beneath the set. Pros: What sold me is when I compared this set to other brand names, this set has 10" toms, 12" wood snare and 12" cymbals. It also has independent stands, which makes it highly customizable to your style of play/reach. It also has a realistic kick drum and high-hat setup. You are going to have a hard time finding all that at this price. This is especially true if you are able to snag one of the deals available. The module is pretty basic, but user friendly. I like how easy it is to use. I also like the ability to turn the volume up/down as well as increase/decrease volume on the kick/snare/toms/hi-hat/crash, independently. The sound produced through the headphones is fantastic, in my opinion. I've also run this through an amplifier, which sounds great as well. Assembly was pretty straight-forward. It came in one box and was packed efficiently. Just needed to make sure I didn't swap the ride cymbal with the crash cymbals. Hooking it all up to the module was easy as well. In comparing this to other sets and looking at reviews, I noticed that many sets looked small, with an adult drummer seemingly large compared to the drum set. This doesn't seem to be the case with this set. That might have to do with the independent stands, larger toms, snares and cymbals. Cons: It does not come with a throne. This wasn't an issue for me. I shopped around and bought a nicer one with a backrest, than what would have been offered in other kits anyway. The picture shows a bag for the drum sticks. I never ran across one while unpacking the set. -- Bottom line: I'm an electric guitar player/builder that has wanted to play drums recreationally for a while. Really enjoy jamming along with my favorite rock/metal bands. I'm glad I made this purchase. It allows me to put my years of air-drumming skills to use. I am giving my air-drums away for free if you want them. Don't need them anymore... ;-)

Looks great, sounds great, plays great, and has fantastic support.
Best kit for the money! Support was wondeful and setup was super easy. Works great as a stand alone kit with the drum brain and works great hooked up to my computer to run my own samples. Couldn't be happier! Its super quiet with the mesh heads. Definitely would recommend to someone looking for a real feeling kit but needing to stay quiet. Headphone out and usb to computer makes it exceptionally versatile and perfect for practice.

Great kit, module is lacking....
It is a great kit and the customer support is top notch. My only criticism is the module. You can't import sounds to the module, . You are pretty stuck with what comes in the module sound wise. The sounds aren't awful. They compare to the lower end alesis kits in the sound department. Now where this kit really shines is the pads. Very responsive and similar to acoustic drums. The stand is sturdy and built to last. Easy assembly 15-25min. Perfect for a beginner, or as i use them, A great alternative to the Roland TD series. You can find a TD17 module for under 600$ and all in still be half the price of Roland. Hate to criticize because they were so helpful when i had questions, hopefully the modules will improve in the future. 8/10 would recommend.

Nice set.
My previous set was over 5 years old. The technology is getting very close to perfect. This set is fantastic and the positive reviews about their customer service are true. They promptly address an issue, kept me informed and resolved the issue to my satisfaction. They are definitely eager to put out the best possible product. I'm impressed. The drums themselves feel acoustic and have great response. Whether through headphones or the monitor, there is no lag when playing along with the Bluetooth input. The module is easy to navigate and adjust. The levels are set pretty much right out of the box. They have a great product at a fair price. I'm a happy customer.

Impressive, particularly for the price.
This is a really nice kit. It's a little tricky to put together (the instructions are printed on the box, but some steps may be confusing), but the support group responds quickly and helpfully. All the bits you would need are there and work well. The cables were long enough for my chosen layout and the ability to adjust all aspects of the layout (heights, angles, etc.) is great, compared to what appeared to be limited options when using a frame-based kit. The stands, clamps, etc. have all proven up to the task - no sag, drift that I have encountered so far. Note that this is also a fairly weighty package (85 lbs) as a single piece. The packaging is pretty good - cardboard boxes, minimal polystyrene, and the packaging took the blows from shipping instead of the contents. Nothing was broken, or even damaged, despite this weighty and bulky package.

Great for the beginner or advanced drummer along with great customer service!
This is my second electronic drum kit and it's much more comfortable on my hands/wrists than my previous Alesis model with rubber pads. I think mesh pads have gotten more affordable over the years. I had never heard of this brand, but after doing a bit of research and narrowing down my options, this model gave me the best bang for my buck. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this kit was and how good it sounded for a sub $1,000 electronic drum kit. There's only an extra plug for the included crash cymbal and no other options for an additional tom or cymbal on the module, but that can all be upgraded. Speaking briefly with the customer service at Aklot. Ethan at Aklot, who was very quick to reply and very friendly, said that the online store at Aklot would be open in March and that they'd have replacement accessories available but I could always tell them if I needed anything in the meantime as well. It was very easy to put together and I had the entire kit up and running in about an hour or so. If I had one small gripe, I would have liked a slightly longer wire for the ride as I place my ride to the right of everything else. I know that they place it in the front, but I think it's more for an aesthetic of balance in pictures as most people I know have the ride to one side. Since I didn't want to have a wire stretched across my kit, I decided to move the module to one of the front cymbal stands and it works great. It's actually more comfortable, to be honest. I also like that the kick tower is nice and wide so that if I wanted to add a double kick beater, it wouldn't be an issue. Oddly enough, I used Copilot to help me narrow down the choices of kits and what I could get for my price point, what I didn't need, what was worth getting in used kits and those pitfalls, etc. In the end, I'm really happy with my purchase and I opted to get a new kit over a possibly better used one because at least I'd know no pieces were missing on a new one (more than likely), that it was most likely going to work and obviously that I'd be able to return it, if not. It doesn't take up as much space as I thought it would and I would highly recommend it for a beginning drummer or someone that just needs a quieter kit to noodle on.

Best cheapest complete drum set you can get
This is by far the cheapest and most durable complete drum set I have owned. I've been looking for an electronic set with an independent snare AND hi-hat, and those drum sets were either crazy expensive (think of Alesis, Roland, Yamaha, etc.) or they just didn't exist, meaning the snare or hi-hat (or both) weren't independent. AKLOT was the first one I came across that was affordable and resembled an acoustic set. There's a Bluetooth connection you can use to play songs directly from your phone, and a MIDI connection helps connect the module to your computer for recording. It has a decent size that would fit in an average room. The rack is quite stable and feels like playing on an acoustic set. Like other electronic sets, it does make some noise, but it's definitely not bothering others if you have roommates. The other thing I liked a lot was the customer service; I ran into an issue with one of the crash cymbals. I reached out to the customer service and sent them a quick video of the issue, and a week later, I got a new crash! Absolutely recommend it if you are a beginner and/or don't want to spend thousands on an electronic kit.

Customer service surprised me
An Aklot customer service representative contacted me and was very helpful in fitting the drum kit to fit my needs with my feedback. I never contacted them; I was surprised they contacted me and were willing to help me. I am giving them a 5-star rating because of their customer service. I have been on Amazon for 25-plus years, and this is the first time a seller contacted me and was willing to help. 1-This drum kit has a pro look and feel and can be upgraded to fit anyone's needs like a Pro. This is a great set for a child, party band, dinner or church band, or rock band, or for someone who is just starting out and building on it to fit their needs. Kit does look nice. I will be enhancing the kit in about a month. with another tom and another hi-hat, making 2 hi-hats. Love the 3-zone ride found on pro drum kits. 2- As shown in the photo, the drum throne is basic; most people may choose different, more expensive thrones to meet their comforts. 2- To meet my needs I had to modify the hi-hat stand to accommodate the double kick pedal side by side by bending the legs on the hi-hat stand. as shown in photos 3- All clamps The cage is plastic; I expected that. 4- Would have preferred faders, but the price was right and there was a discount. 5- It does have cool drum sounds to meet most people's needs and is excellent for beginners or pros. 5- Photos are as advertised. 6- Description as advertised.

Rock Solid
The kit itself is amazing but the drum throne is GARBAGE hardware is great but the seat is hard as a rock and so small it’s useless for an average sized adult Everything else is 100% and solid as a rock 😜👍

Instruction Manual in Electronic Piece Box, Open it First
Great kit, easy to assemble. BUT, the instruction manual is in the box with the electronic piece, one of the last boxes to use so open it first.

Review from an experienced entry level e-drum kit user.
I ordered the double bass pedal version of the B-CORE543. I thought of upgrading from my Alesis Nitro Max to this one coz I wanted a real hi hat and bigger, multi-zone ride cymbals which the Nitro Max didn't have. The BAD: The stool wouldn't lock in place so it kept moving/spinning. The hi hat stand is flimsy and only had 2 modes: Close and open. One of the bass pedals got loose and couldn't be tightened because it was press fit into the 8mm hex shaft with no bolts/screws to hold it in place. The bass drum didn't come with a stand so the bass pedal beaters was hitting the bass drum closer to the rim at the top instead of the center (check the product pictures to see what I mean). The toms, snare and bass drum were overly sensitive. If you tap with your finger nails or drum key on the bolts holding the rims in place, it will trigger the drum sounds. I tried phoning tech support but their number was not correct according to Whatsapp. I emailed but it took almost 2 days before I got a response and by the time I got the response, I already initiated a return to Amazon. The plastic parts of this kit feel cheap and sadly, there are lots of plastic bits including the drum module/brain. The drum sticks that came with this kit were short by about an inch compared to the standard drum sticks which I find are unusable if you're used to the standard/correct size. The sounds in the drum module were ok/meh. When my wife heard it for the first time, she told me to return the kit coz it sounded awful. To me, it sounded ok/livable. The GOOD: Size wise it is just right and feels almost like a real acoustic drum kit. The whole kit except the hi hat felt stable/solid. The chrome finish on the drums and metal tubes are impressive. That's about it. The BEST part of this experience is Amazon's return policy. I managed to return this drum kit and get a refund in about 1 week from when I bought it. It was picked up from my house when I returned it so I didn't have to carry the close to 100 lbs box. If I were Aklot, I would remove the hi hat stand, stool, bass pedals, similar to when you purchase a high end e-drum kit from Roland, Yamaha or Alesis. So they can focus on improving the sounds in the sound module, also the drum module's fit and finish of the plastic parts needs refinement, and include a stand for the drum bass so the bass pedal beaters will hit the center of the bass drum, while keeping the price down.
