which canon paper is better for framing art?

Size depends on viewing distance and paper style depends on the artistic style and audience. A paper this size may be good for an indoor gallery with a viewing distance of 4 feet. More intimate viewing distances may have smaller image sizes. A 4x6 image that i have to stand very close to observe will trigger a different emotion than than a 5 foot display that surrounds the viewer. And longer viewing distances will have larger canvases. Think of how differently you view an image on your phone compared to a billboard. Paper style is completely up to the artist and what he is trying to portray. A matte may be good for a classical style and complement contrast better than glossy, but is ultimately up to the artist. You can consider buying a sampler pack which has four different kinds of paper.

No, the paper is not thin. I would characterize it as normal "matte" weight. I can not address the 2nd part of your question as my Canon printer uses 10 inks.Roger

Will this work with a laser printer?

The answer is yes, it will. The only paper you should not use in a laser printer is glossy, because the laser printer fuses the toner to the paper with heat and it will melt and cause blurs and is not good for the printer. Matte paper is fine for laser printers, although best results would be with the inkjet as they print better photos to begin with. Hope this helps!
