Review: Absolutely terrific product - This is a great product. I take blood thinners so bruise easily. Not sure about the scientific explanation, but if I apply to the bruise it heals twice as fast. Also, the first sign of a cold sore on my lip, I apply to exterior of area and cold sore completely disappears by morning. Again, have no idea about explanation for such. This product is easy to use and worked so well.
This product works better than 6 prescriptions I have had. Took it to the doctors appointment and the Wound Nurse highly endorsed it. She said Manuka Honey is know for it healing properties and they use it on patients in the hospital. I will not be without this on. Loved the larger size. I have multiple issues with my skin and as a senior citizen it was wonderful to finds something so natural that works so well.

Not great for excema
Ointment is okay. Didn’t really have any effect on excema which is why I bought it

Does it heal?
I can’t say for a fact that it is actively healing my skin, but I can say that I do like how it makes my skin look and feel. However, it does have a bit of a grainy texture to it. But it does melt into your skin. So once you get passed that, you should be fine. It also has a strong scent. I’m sure because of the ingredients. I just needed something to help with the skin abscess and it has been keeping it moisturized. As for healing, I’m not sure entirely. Still would recommend for dry skin if you want something more “natural”.
