Yuasa is one of those manufacturers you can count on up to this point. This was the first battery of dozens I've ordered that the acid came separate. Kind of cool installing your own sulfuric acid. I've ordered batteries for this vehicle before; twice. I would rather have the factory seal it but the device included to seal it is ok. Didn't know whether to give it five stars or deduct one for the customer installed acid.

I bought this battery to replace an older gel battery that wasn't holding a charge any longer for my 2009 FJR. Upon arrival I read the instructions and was able to fill the battery with the supplied electrolyte easily. After charging the battery overnight I installed the battery easily. One thing to note is that the cutout on the top for this battery is slightly shorter than my old battery which made the clamp difficult to close. After installing my bike started quickly and easily. This battery has continued to hold a charge and work perfectly. The battery came with all of the required hardware to install and the price was far less than many other retail web sites. I would definitely recommend this battery.

I can tell you how the battery is in the short term. Same size as the GSYUASA that came with my bike. GSYUASA and YUASA are sister companies (according to customer service at the Pennsylvania YUASA plant). The only issue that I had with the listing is that when it describes the measurements it is the measurements of the box in which the battery and the acid pack comes, not the battery itself. I had to go to the YUASA website to get the actual dimensions of the battery. It was super easy to add the acid, charge and seal up the battery (it is shipped dry, but comes with the acid). Short term it is working great, we shall see if it lasts as long as my OEM battery.

So far great battery. You have to put the acid into it but that's super easy. No charging needed. I let it sit until I had time to install it and cranked right over.

The battery ran down one time and now the battery is dead. Less than 6 months old. Even my big charger won’t charge it. No better than the other batteries I have used before.
