MMG Adult Open Face Motorcycle Helmet, Scooter/Moped, Flat Black, Large

Needed a helmet to match my white and black electric Sims style scooter! Perfect fit! I wear a lot of extensions in my hair like box braids and such so I went one size up to a L instead of Med so it could fit comfortably. Without extensions it fits a bit wobbly but with a bandana and tightening the chin straps it's snug as a bug and doesn't move around at all. My bf has the same one in red, they are very beautiful and sleek. Now I'm adding stickers all over it because it needs a personality!

Fits great....excellent visibility....much much nicer than I was expecting for the reasonable price....BRAVO!

DISCLAIMER: I used this product as a costume piece for a short film! Didn't test as protective gear. As a note, we destroyed its integrity, so you can read about what it took to break it. The visor is nice and clear. It will fog up with excessive breath, but it's open at the bottom so ventilation wasn't a problem, and it won't fog much if you're breathing normally. There's a lot of cushioning inside for a very snug fit around the head. It's possible but difficult to fit a thin coat hood inside. Strap is secure and well-made. The visor moved nicely, and had hitch/stop points, so it didn't slide up without someone forcing it up. Integrity test: We drilled through the back of the head to feed a cord through, but it took a long time to drill through the ABS before we cut through. It wasn't easy. That suggests good integrity. Used a utility, battery-powered drill that you could buy at a hardware store. Not an industrial drill. The helmet stops at the base of the skull, doesn't cover the neck. Should make it easy for removal, but I don't know if that helps with whiplash. We put sticky strip lights inside the helmet, and attached EVA foam to the base of the visor to make the helmet look bigger.

Bought this for the motorcycle safety course. After just one day of wear, it was obvious that the padding isn’t enough. By the 3rd hour of wearing, I felt the hardness pressure of the helmet on top of my head. It gave me a headache and I kept paying attention to my helmet rather than the instructor and riding. I wouldn’t use it as my main helmet. Maybe for a passenger.

Great looking helmet, perfect fit for measured size. Feels sturdy - I’d use it for a scooter or vespa but not for a full-sized motorcycle or on a highway. I’m merely using it as a prop for cyber artwork, so it’s more than ideal for a futuristic effect.

Quality and not bulky. HEADS UP! There is only a chin strap! Not a buckle (like I’d hoped), but still worth the safety.
