One year review, it's amazing
Review from a gamer, streamer, writer, sim-racer, tech enthusiast and mechanic. I originally bought this desk May 2nd, 2025, in Indianapolis, IN, had it and used it for around 5 months there before having to pack and move back to my hometown in Northern Michigan. This desk has served me so well in that time, it's unbelievable. I am rough on my things, I have a sim racing wheel, handbrake and shifter that mount onto this desk and shake the hell out of it, let alone any bumping or anything I do into the desk. I have literally no complaints, I've customized mine slightly (mounted a power strip with 10 ports due to my needs, moved the headset holder, added cord organizers in multiple places). This desk was pretty easy to build and once it was initially, customizing afterwards is pretty easy. It is a perfect height and has comfortable edges, the space it takes in my room is minimal due to my positioning behind it looking into the room. I have been impressed by the stability of this desk the entire time I've had it, like I said, full sim-racing setup is NOT nice on a desk, but it's never made me nervous with this. I wish I had space for a longer one in my room for another monitor, but that's a personal issue trying to fit 2x27' monitors on this. However, this desk easily fits: Blue Yeti microphone (standing), wireless phone charger, 27' monitor, large external storage, keyboard, and mouse, plus my laptop as a second monitor off under the shelf. Hoping to get a desktop PC soon to use the computer shelf below the desk too! Easily one of my best purchases ever. EDIT: It's now June 21st, 2026, I successfully have attached 2x27' monitors and a Blue Yeti Microphone (all on arms), the PC tray is now in use which is positioned on the outer edge for me, I have literally no complaints except that I wish I had bought the bigger version!

Fantastic Desk For Versatility
I've had this desk for a few days now. It's really great. I love the extra shelf space, and it's really convenient for me to have extra outlets for small, low energy appliances. I'm easily able to fit both of my 2k monitors on the long open part of the desk without them being too pushed together and without them taking up too much space. There's also a lot of room for my mousepad, mouse, and keyboard so I can set various buttons other things down easily. The space on the side (I chose to do the right handed orientation) gives enough space for my PC to sit in the back corner while also leaving a ton of room for me to actually use the desk space on the side. I've been putting my cooling fan there, as well as using my tablet there as a nice separate workspace from my computer zone on the other part of the desk. The shelves above give me lots of room to put things. Very satisfied with this desk. My desk chair also easily slides under the desk, so I can fully push it in. I use the very bottom shelf that's close to the floor for my surge protector power strip so it's lifted off the floor. A great desk all around for a good price. The LED lights are a nice touch too. Not super sleek looking mainly because you have to fixate them onto the desk with zip ties, but still nice. If you don't like it you could probably buy some separate LED lights. The only thing I can even complain about is that when putting the desk together, I had some trouble opening the bags with all the screws. They're all connected, so instead of ripping the bags open with your bare hands (like I did) I recommend using scissors. I appreciated that all required wrenches and screwdrivers were provided so I didn't have to buy any separately. Overall, the instructions were easy to follow and the pictures helped me figure out which way the screw holes were supposed to go for later steps. It took me about an hour to put together, and it was definitely worth it! Love this desk! It's a big upgrade from my previous one.

Easy!! (Donโt look at my mess)
Great!! Easy to assemble, on the wobbly side though, wobbles less when you put the wood in place. Lovely shelves with plenty of space on them. One of the screws doesnโt fit all the way into the desk and it makes the hook sway. I bought it in black and it looks great on light colored walls.

Pretty decent
This desk is pretty nice overall and I'm happy with it, but there are a few things worth mentioning. When it arrived and I got everything unpacked, I realized it was a bit smaller than I was expecting based on the pictures. It still works well for my setup, but if you're looking for a larger desk you may want to double check the dimensions before ordering. Assembly took me about 2 hours, although it probably could have been done faster if I hadn't taken my time. Most of the pieces went together alright, but some of them didn't fit together quite as smoothly as I was hoping, which made the build process a little frustrating at times. The LED lights are a nice touch and look pretty good once everything is set up, but they are held on with zip ties which feels a little cheap and low quality compared to the rest of the desk. One thing is that you really can't fit a monitor underneath the shelf section, so keep that in mind if you're planning your setup around that space. Despite those issues, the desk does a good job of helping save space and looks nice once assembled. It's not perfect, but for the price I think it's still a solid purchase and I'm glad I bought it.

Recommend for gamers
My son wanted this for his game room. To be honest we were very surprised with the appearance and how easy it was to put together. Very sturdy. It holds his PS5, monitor, and asseccories he uses.

Color Me Impressed
This thing has honestly blown me away. I wanted something with room for both my TV (43") for console gaming, and my computer for PC gaming, and it does just that. I wasn't expecting *too* much from a build-it-yourself item off Amazon, since such items tend to have a reputation as being flimsy. But the wood boards actually have good weight to them, and after assembling the whole thing, it feels quite solid (it's rated for 300lbs, btw). The feet can be (un)screwed slightly to accommodate for uneven floors and prevent wobbling. There's 28-29" of clearance between the floor and the main surface. It does seem to hold onto fingerprints, but I've used both a mild multi-purpose cleaner and Orange Glo without leaving marks or damaging the surface. I'd avoid anything harsh like bleach, ammonia, or vinegar, though. Assembly was easy and straightforward; every single part is labeled, and the instructions are 85% diagrams, with indicators as to which direction certain components should be facing. If you're having trouble with holes not lining up, there's a good chance you've just gotten something mixed up somewhere. I also had no missing parts, and only one board was slightly scuffed, but it's not visible after assembly, so I'm not pressed. (And honestly, such things are bound to happen occasionally during shipping.) I put the whole thing together myself in a couple of hours. Take your time, read the directions carefully, and you should have no issues! The hardest part were the first few steps of getting the bottom frame together--that's where it's easiest to mix things up--but after that, it's rather intuitive, and everything comes together pretty quickly. With another set of hands you can probably get this desk assembled in an hour or less. I did mistakenly attach the LED strip upside-down the first time (oops), so if you can't tell which side is the top, just plug it in & turn it on real quick to help with orientation. Thankfully there were a couple extra sticky pads included, and you can use a safety razor to separate the pads from the desk without damaging the light strip. The adjustable side shelf, PC floor shelf, headset hook, and hanging bag are nice bonus features. Now I just need a new chair... So if you're contemplating getting this desk but are still on the fence, I say go for it, especially if it's on sale. People on FB Marketplace were charging ~$60+ for scratched, dusty, old desks, and IKEA's prices have gotten pretty high. So at the end of the day, you might as well get something new, and this one is a fair deal.

Perfect
Exactly as described. Just follow the instructions and its simple to put together. Quality was good. Height and value for money was excellent. Stability of desk was perfect, and no missing parts. Fit perfectly in the space I needed it for.
