After much research and debate about purchasing a high end blender, I narrowed my choice to 2 different companies and ultimately chose the Ascentx2. I've been using this beauty for about one month, and couldn't be happier! The noise level was a big concern for me. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the volume and pitch were not overbearing. No ear plugs needed! I was somewhat intimidated at first, but because the blender is so easy to navigate, I felt comfortable after the first use. This is an incredible machine and I am having a great time experimenting with dressings, smoothies, and ice cream. All have turned out perfectly. The Ascent X2 does not take up a lot of counter space and easily fits under my 18 1/2 " cupboards. Another factor in choosing a Vitamix is their reputation to stand behind their product. Definitely true! I encountered a very minor issue shortly after receiving the Ascent. After a brief email conversation, the problem was resolved immediately, no questions asked. Very impressive.

It’s great! I held off making my review till I was able to use the food processor which works so perfect and comes with so many different ways to use that with the slicing tool. It does take some getting used to you to not like over. Blend your stuff in the food processor. And it’s much larger than I had anticipated so just so you know it’s definitely not small. The blender itself is excellent. I thought that maybe getting a smaller picture would make it harder to make smoothies for my family, but it ended up being perfect with nothing leftover so for two adults and one child I can make a smoothie that can for everyone exactly. No leftovers. It’s really easy to use. I wouldn’t say it’s affordable, but the value for the money was great because I really wanted a food processor so the only thing is that the little handle for the stick for the blender it’s made of plastic and it doesn’t really lock in so it comes off really easily but I feel like if you’re not moving your blender a lot it should be fine. Everything else is great. I mean it’s a Vitamix. It does what it does. I’m grateful to have one after having my ninja foodie for so long like there’s some programs that it doesn’t have, but I feel like it was definitely a good upgrade as far as my smoothies are so much better. 5:-.

I use the blender every day. Smoothies, soups, Nicecream. The processor attachment is great for making salads. Yes, Viramix costs more, but it is the gold standard. You can not buy a better blender.

Holy crap, this thing is awesome! I put off buying a Vitamix for SO long because I thought they were overrated and overpriced. The other day my "Ninja professional" bullet style blender's blade fixture started leaking, and I decided to buy a new blender instead of replacing it, because we'd had that blender for a long time, and I didn't love the workflow. I saw the X2 on sale, and decided to pull the trigger. What a difference! This thing is powerful, and incredibly stable. I like the blending programs more than I thought I would, because I can just walk away while it's blending. The craziest part by far though, is the vortex it makes! I'd seen people talk about it, but it's wild to watch. I add all the ingredients for my protein shake, hit blend, and not a drop of the mix hits the lid of the blender. It's legitimately still clean when I'm done blending, because everything just gets sucked down into the blades so effectively. Is it too expensive? Maybe, but it's got a 10 year warranty. If this thing works this well for ten years, I'll buy another one in a heartbeat.

I heard so many good things and wanted to use it for healthy smoothies and soups. As soon as I put liquid in the picture it leaked out. I just think I got one that didn’t pass quality control. I bought another pitcher for it but it wouldn’t work. I guess they have a chip in it that wouldn’t let it connect. So I returned both products.

Get what you for pay for, sincerely impressed. Nice color, looks good. 4 programed modes are great.

Expensive blender but is paying for itself as it makes the best smoothies and can handle what ever i put in it from rock hard frozen fruit, ice to apples and oranges cut up etc, I use it daily sometimes twice a day. I love I can put warm water in it and a drop of dish soap and run the clean cycle and just rinse it out and she is clean again way less BS and clean up. Then add in that ten year warranty and its gold. Zero plastic parts in the gears its all steel so I expect this to last a very long time. I used five other blenders the last ten years all die within two years if not sooner due to plastic gears and all are in the trash. So I wish I had found the Vitamix sooner as it would have saved me money had I bought it ten years ago. The old blenders ran in the $200. plus range times it by five and I wasted over a$1000. the last ten years . Had I just bought the Vitamix it would have paid for its self already and then some. This machine is worth every cent you will not be disappointed just register the warranty and your safe for ten years! . Update used daily for a year now with no problems worth the $$ as it blends frozen mango / pineapple etc daily for the last year.
