The fact that people leave negative reviews because this product smells like fish is honestly mind blowing. You are literally buying pure fish oil. Crack open an omega 3 capsule and smell it. Guess what it smells like? Fish. Yes, if you get it on your hands, your hands will smell like fish until you scrub them with soap. Yes, your kitchen may smell a little fishy after you pump it into your dog’s bowl. That is because the product is made from fish. I am not sure what people were expecting, perhaps vanilla frosting. As for the actual product, it seems very high quality. It is packaged well, the pump is easy to use, and the container does a reasonably good job containing the smell considering what is inside. My dog has no problem eating it, and the potential benefits for his skin, coat, joints, heart, and overall health make a little temporary fish smell completely worth it. Overall, I would absolutely recommend it. Just understand that fish oil smells like fish, and you will probably be perfectly happy with it.

I love this Omega oil for my dog, Smudge! I mix one pump into his dry food, or wet foot and he absolutely loves the smell and taste of it. It helps him finish his entire bowl of food and makes his skin and coat so so soft. Smudge is half Frenchie/ half Boston Terrier and he has always been a picky eater. My sister recommended this to me and I am forever grateful. It makes Smudges coat shiny, and super soft/ I swear it’s even helped with reducing shedding. He gets compliments from strangers all the time about how soft he is and how shiny his coat is. The pump on the top of the bottle is wonderful and makes my life so much easier because I know one pump is all I need. The container is so convenient and well made. It’s easy for me to take anywhere, we can go camping and grab it easily without worrying about keeping it cold or worrying about it spilling. The price point is absolutely perfect. The amount you get for the cost of it is insanely good. I was worried my dog would go through it quickly, but it’s so effective that we only need one pump ! I cannot recommend this product enough, it’s a great add on for wet food or dry food, and I noticed a difference so quickly in the skin and hair on Smudge! He used to have red spots, itchiness and dry skin, now his skin looks so fabulous, his coat is shiny, soft and I’m obsessed with this product! I added it to my subscribe and save because it works so well! If your pups skin or coat is dry, dull or itchy, I would 100% recommend this ! *Also, I didn’t even realize how much this oil would make a difference but it is NIGHT AND DAY difference! Even if you’re not sure that your dogs coat is actually dry, you will notice a huge difference with this! This is a great brand too with really great ingredients! *Another benefit is that if your dog is ever constipated this helps with regular bowel movements! But it doesn’t cause diarrhea or runny poop- and if you notice your pups poop is a bit more loose than normal this brand has a wonderful powdered pumpkin to mix with the food as well. I’m about to go write a review on the dehydrated pumpkin powder because I’m a regular user of that as well and it’s amazing!!! It helps regulate bowel movements and digestion. Absolutely LOVE these Native products!

Great product! He's a hawaii dog and moved here to Utah. Hawaii has alot of moisture where Utah is dry. Since using this product I have noticed a big difference within the first 2 months. His coat is very soft and his skin is very nice. He seems to love the taste, most of the time he waits for me to pump it into his food, usually about 6 pumps, he's a medium size doggie.

It's much nicer than the typical squeeze bottles, dispenses cleanly, and makes it easy to give the correct amount without creating a mess. The biggest surprise was how much my Yorkie enjoys it. He's usually pretty picky about supplements, but he licks it right up with his food and doesn't hesitate at all. That alone makes this product a winner in my book. It's still early to judge the long-term benefits, but I chose this supplement because of the potential support for skin, coat, joints, heart health, and reducing shedding. As an aging dog, those are all things I want to stay ahead of rather than wait until problems develop. Overall, this appears to be a high-quality product that's easy to use, made with wild Alaskan salmon oil, and—most importantly—accepted by my dog without any fuss. If you're looking for an omega-3 supplement for an older dog (or even a younger one as part of a wellness routine), this is definitely worth considering. I'll update my review if I notice significant long-term improvements, but based on my initial experience, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
