I’m only half-way through this amazing book and couldn’t wait to post a review. If you are a believer and you want to know what’s going on in our country right now this book holds and explain many answers! I have read some of Jonathan Cahn’s other books. They are incredible as well. Very helpful and informative. Christians, this book will help us focus on our faith and hope in God, rather than on the puzzling and terrifying current events. Highly recommend!

“The Avatar” is like a magic mirror: Look inside and you will see things that were, and things that are in a new way, and maybe get a glance at what is to come. Jonathan Cahn, a former atheist who now leads a Messianic congregation, has a string of New York Times bestselling books. And "The Avatar" deserves to be still one more. Easy to read, with short chapters and well organized, Cahn guides readers through facts that connect the dots between history in the Bible, recent events, and other ideas. Like his other books, he sees parallels between the United States and the Northern Kingdom. He refers to this as a “template,” because of the way facts repeat themselves. Place the recent elections involving Donald Trump against the characters of the Bible and truth, and it shows a pattern of repetition. This is alarming. The Northern Kingdom was destroyed, nearly all of its people either killed or carried away to Assyria. Never to return. Is the USA like the Northern Kingdom, and if so, how? And who are the Avatars? “The Avatar” begins with stories of Jonathan Cahn’s experiences in India and Cuba and elsewhere revealing the truth of the existence of spirits, or “gods.” He summarizes material from his previous books, “The Paradigm” and “The Return of the Gods, and shows how their story continues. When Cahn states a fact, he gives the source. I counted about 541 footnotes at the book’s end. A few of these might be considered coincidences, but when the reader objectively sees the case he builds, it opens a broader view and a better understanding of the importance of events. This includes what was at stake in the battle between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. One of the most valuable books of the year - and perhaps the very most valuable - book of 2025. Those who like this may gain from Cahn’s 2024 bestseller, “The Dragon’s Prophecy.” It gives insight into events in the Middle East and around the world, and the end times. Those interested in the shedim and demons referred to in “The Avatar” might like to read “Demons” from noted Bible scholar Dr. Michael S. Heiser, which explains in detail the kinds of spirits in the Bible. Both are on Amazon.

Always enjoy reading his books. This one was no different. Great depth of biblical knowledge and history.

Another great book by Jonathan Cahn. Prophetic, insightful, adventurous too.

Excellent book. Tell what is going on in our world today. I would advise anyone who wants to keep up with what is happening.

Very very good book for persons who know the importance of the Bible. The author explains and gives proof from the Bible of everything he is talking about. This is the first book I have read from Johnathan Chan and I know I will be reading more of his works. It is not a real easy read, but it is so interesting I did not want to put it down. This book made me want to pick up my bible to read some of the Old Testament to find out what happens next. You will be glad you read it. I plan to lend this book to any of my friends who like to read.

Cahn lays it down in this one. Straight with no chaser. He calls names and lets you know who and what certain people are in the American landscape related to the spiritual realm. I'm candy coating this review to minimize shock. Most people's political views will probably color their opinion of this book. Some of the things in this book are mind blowing. Cahn, of course, salts it with plenty of numerology, as is his custom and is head scratching at times. But in this one, the numerology takes a back seat to other astounding assertions. People who have voted Democrat over the past 25 years are going to H8TE this.

More than a book, an astonishing experience into the realm of the spiritual ingraned in the phisycal. A must read for our times.
