I ordered these stanchions and velvet ropes primarily for an upcoming Movie Night/Hollywood Awards Red Carpet themed party that I'm hosting. I already own 2 posts with one red velvet rope, but I needed more to create the environment that I'm aiming for. 😄 Unfortunately these posts are slightly smaller and thinner than the ones I already have displayed in my "fun" room (which is decked out in movie theater decor). Therefore, I won't be able to connect that set with this new one. Well, technically I can, but the difference in size will be noticeable. I suppose I can have it as the first one to mark it's presence. 🤔 I'm just thinking out loud. Lol Back to this purchase! The stanchions were easy to assemble, and packaged with care. I did not fill the bases with sand. I'm going to try and avoid doing that, but I might have to because my gathering is outside... where there is wind. 🫤🌬 Bases without sand definitely make carrying them much easier. Aside from using these at outdoor gatherings, they will be a part of my movie themed basement decor... no need for sand. As far as price goes... I think they are worth the cost. This is an item that will last. (Be careful of dings though. I accidentally banged a heavy dive bag into the base, and it did leave behind a small dent🫤).

We had an event to celebrate my father in law's 90th birthday so we rolled out the red carpet for him and 60 guests and this worked out perfectly!

Pretty great quality. There are very professional looking. The base is a bit cheap feeling but still looks good. The metal is a sturdy thick metal. If say overall it's a great value for the money.

The quality from Suplander seller is so bad comapared to the one selling by Amazon. Customer service of Suplander is worst> been going back and forth for almost a month and responding with the same question asking for the order number. The hole for the base is so flat that water or sand will spill out compared to the one I bought from Amazon seller. I received one of the posts to have a loose thread

Super cool and easy to install

Great for what they are, but you will need to fill the base with water or sand. The base's covering is also filmy metal and will be susceptible to dents and dings.
