Why does it cost so much?

Adult scalpers clean out stores and double or triple the price (or more- there’s an $11 figure my son wants on another site for $80!) so little kids can’t buy the toys they want with their allowance. Some kids won’t be able to get their favorite characters for Christmas because of scalpers like this. My son earned a prize a few months ago, and he wanted to wait until a particular sonic figure came out. We went to the store on that day- not there. We went back a few days later- not there. We went back every few days, but I finally had to buy one from a scalper on here for triple the price. He left the store sobbing every time. But hey, anything for VARToys to make a buck, right?

what kind of stand should I get for this line of figures

Depending on model, look for a 4" to 6" acrylic standard base with 1/8" pegs (single peg bases should work).... something more affordable and customizable? cut 1/2" lenght pieces from 1/8" iron nails and get round or square pieces of plywood sheets; drill 1/8" holes as needed, glue the metal pieces to the wood and insert your figures. Use lacquer based paint and let perfectly dry the base before use your bases (allow 3 to 7 days at sunlight, depending on base size and paint amount) .
