Wang Korean Cold Noodle Barley Naengmyeon, Light and Nutty, 4 Servings

I love this brand for the cold noodles. I have tried many and this is the one that is a favorite in my household. Love this one and unfortunately HMART near my house does not sell this so I have to order!

What I didn’t like was the broth packet that it came with. It was just chili pepper powder, garlic powder, onion powder, with sesame seeds, with dehydrated green onions, and mustard powder. It wasn’t really a broth packet filled with liquid. It was more of a seasoning packet as the broth packet. The flavor wasn’t good at all in my opinion, and I thought that it would be as good as the ones from the Korean restaurants. This is totally different on taste. It’s not like from the Korean restaurants if that’s what you’re expecting how this cold noodles would taste. Not only that but the broth has so much of the garlic flavor. If you like garlic seasoning and lots of garlic then this might be for you. I just wanted the same cold noodles that tastes like, the ones from the restaurants. This was a great trial for me on learning what cold noodles might taste like from different companies. But I did not like theses at all. Not even with kimchi it just was too much for me. The only good thing was the portion size for the price was the great deal. But the taste was not good.

Idk if maybe this was a different version of soup base that I'm not familiar with, but every mul nengmyeon I've had has always been a light and sour broth. This soup tasted like ramen powder. Boo. I didn't even bother finishing making the noodles, I was so disappointed.
