Organic Amaze Bar Seriously Dark 87% Stone Ground,10 Count

Great chocolate! Yummy!!! Good for you, too. It is in the top three for the best dark chocolate. Low levels of Lead and Cadmium!!!! The chocolate was packed in a reflective metal envelope with a frozen ice pack. Then, that was packed into a small box. I was impressed with the care they provided. However, the delivery person left it in the sun on our top step of our stairs. So, 10+ for the company. 3 for the delivery person. Most of the time, the delivery people usually put the packages by the door in a shaded area. No damage or melting was done. Thank goodness!

This is a different taste than you're used to, but after trying it I knew for the first time what real chocolate tastes like, bot the creamy goo they sell commercially. I don't get the hate from people because I will keep buying this for as long as I can afford it. This chocolate also tested very low on lead and cadmium on the consumer reports study (if you haven't read it pls google it).

As a very old consumer of chocolate, I have to say this is the worst chocolate bar I have ever tasted. It has a grainy, bitter crunch like it is lacking cocoa butter. It’s very inconsistent with each bite. Some bites taste sweeter than others. It’s also extremely overpriced for the small amount you get. Will not be buying this again.

These are one of the few dark chocolate bars on the market that don't have cadmium or lead in them. I only gave them 4 stars because the texture is something you have to grow accustomed to. The are a bit granular (intentionally) due to using stone ground cacao beans. However they are produce very ethically. So if you just know that the texture will be something different you may enjoy this.

TAZA chocolate is amazing. I love the "ground" texture and the amount of fiber that it brings with it. My ultimate favorite is this 87% though I also like the 95%. I wish the Whole Foods Market I live next door to would put these in their inventory so I could buy a couple at a time, as I need them, especially in the summer when it gets hot with the shipping. For those who love really DARK chocolate with a difference, these are true winners !!!
