Disappointed
Had these a month now. Optically very good. But the focus mechanism is simply awful. It is stiff to use and has a large slack area which has to be moved thru before any focus movement is made. Althogther the focus mechanism feels very cheap and nasty. A real shame because the optics are good. I've waited a month hoping that it simply needed to loosen up with use. But it's no better. And they weren't cheap either! Will be looking for an better alternative.

Another quality product from Vortex. Well built, sleek design, bright and has good optics. The only drawback in my opinion is its hard and stiff focusing wheel. Perhaps this is one of the most problematic aspects besides loose eye caps in a binocular. A smooth and light focusing wheel makes for a pleasant experience and you would want to use it more often.
