These are the most comfortable flats/sandles I've ever worn. They don't need to be broken in. This is my second pair and I'm very sad they stopped making these!

Yes, these feel quite small at first--uncomfortably so, even--but, ladies, just walk around your house for 5 minutes and, as with any leather product, they'll stretch right out (at least in my experience). These are so chic and well-made, so if you're nervous buy a couple sizes and see what works.
