My daughter and I love Tutu Dream's peacock costume! It's gorgeous, and Well-made, the bodice is lined and comfortable, not itchy and not see through. The size 14 fits true to size. The tutu portion is full, and tiered, so it gives the impression of a peacock and there are peacock feathers hot-glued within the tutu ruffles. There isn't an "underwear" piece, it's a tutu, so you could wear turquoise or blue shorts or leotard bottoms underneath. This is absolutely STUNNING. My 4 year old got so many compliments and everyone asked where we got it. We made a feather tail and headpiece and bought a bodysuit for underneath to complete the look. The only issue was it sliding down on the top so we added straps which made a huge difference. It's also better with something worn underneath since the top is somewhat see-through, especially when stretched. The fit was perfect. The feathers that are glued in between the tulle layers were a perfect touch. Overall, it was gorgeous and she looked amazing.

To say that I love this costume is an understatement. The colors are beautiful and I found a head piece to match it perfectly and used the included head piece as an extra flair to the ribbon neckline. I also ordered additional peacock feathers for the back to extend the look. It is perfect for my daughter’s pageant costume. Well worth the money.

I’m pretty sure this was a return sold as new…there was only one available at that time in that size that could be delivered in two days, all others would take several weeks. So I figured that before purchasing but needed something due to a separate lost package. That may be why feathers fell off on opening as did some of the tulle but I fixed that easily enough.Anyway about the dress. As others said because it’s just a tulle tied dress and wasn’t packaged well it is super crumply. Great if you are going for a mermaid vibe.The strap that others complained about is just a ribbon looped into the tube top so can be removed and repurposed very easily ( I cut it in half and stitched it on as two straps that cross cross in the back). If I left it the way it was designed it would rub on her neck and honestly looked more like a choker than a halter style top.Wish the lining was a little longer and not so clingy. She’s only worn it for fitting so far but I have a feeling it’s going to ride up. She did say it’s super soft and she really hates tulle on her skin so the lining does a good job there.Simple design, easy to make if I just had the time I probably should’ve done that and spent half the money.I would not buy again unless I was in a pinch due to not being good value for the money. But it’s unique and made my daughter happy. And we have a dress for the event we needed it for.

Was excited to order since so many reviews were positiveWhen I took the dress out of the packaging it looked like some dog grabbed a hold of it and shook the life out of the dressTulle pieces are missing and not even and all the peacock feathers are falling outExtremely disappointed

My daughter wore this dress last year to the All-American girl used development, program pageant, for the fun fashion show. As long as you steam the dress all of their wrinkles come out just fine in the tulle.My only issue with this stress is that even with the blue straps that tie around the neck, the purple top kept falling down her nipple line, every time I turned around I had to pull the top back up. If she wears this dress again, I will have to try to figure out how to fix that. But it really is a beautiful dress.
