This rotor tiller is exactly what I was looking for. I am 68 and had no problem handling the weight and movement of this machine. It worked exactly as I wanted it to. It comes with two batteries, but I had not problem completing my 20 x 20 garden with the use of only one. I would highly recommend this product.

Works as advertised you have to hang on to it it is powerful on the battery seem to last a good while

I'm using this to help plant grass over a large yard with tons of giant brown spots. I'm laying the seed and then using the tiller to thatch and work the grass into the dirt in one shot and it is working amazing! I had spent years unsuccessfully trying to grow grass in this part of my yard and the results so far are crushing everything else I had tried. I had one hiccup with the product when one of the batteries died, but they replaced it quickly and were easy to deal with. Since it's battery powered, it probably isn't suitable for heavier commercial uses, but it's great for a homeowner working in their yard here and there. You can also buy aftermarket batteries (which I have added) to get more working time out of the tiller. I've probably got 40-50 hours of use on it so far and it's still going strong, even with my rocky soil. The picture is part of the area I worked the grass in and is the "before" picture. I'll post the "after" in a few weeks. I can already see the grass germinating all over, but it's not enough to see in an after picture yet.

The “topsoil” where I live —at high altitude in the mountains— is predominantly decomposed granite. This tool breaks through the hard crusty ground churning up small sticks and rocks. If it hits a large rock, a safety feature triggers a shut off, I kick the rock out of the way, and I’m back at it. I was hesitant at first thinking this machine wouldn’t have the power to manage my Rocky Mountain landscape, but this tool is not only a bargain, it’s a beast.
