This fan is everything we were looking for at a great price in comparison to the box stores. It came with everything needed for installation, it looks fantastic, and the different light color options is pretty cool. It moves a lot of air even being up in the vaulted ceiling. The remote control works very well also

Installation is not easy but not complicated either. Just read the instructions and don't rush. Control box doesn't fit into a bracket. Fan is installed outside on a lanai and vinyl siding on the ceiling prevents sliding fully in. Had to improvise and attach a box next to the top enclosure. Fan looks great. The light is amazing: can change to 3 light color settings. The fan performance. I tried all 6 speeds. Air flow is as expected. Blades could be a little wider to get better flow. Speeds 4 to 6: started wobbling on 4 and max wobbling on 6. As an engineer I am Ok with that. This is not a space shuttle. It is safe. The fan is sitting free on the ceiling bracket that compensates for the movement. And the price is one third of more robust fans. I think it is a great value for the price.

We LOVE this fan. It's in a big living room with a tall ceiling & catwalk to upstairs bedrooms. We run this fan 10+ hours per day during the summer. It is so quiet and powerful, we will probably also use it some during the winter. We wish we had replaced our old fan years ago. It's pretty unusual for us to bother using the light, we have better options in the room. Details: We installed this in a room with an 18' ceiling, using our old/existing 72" downrod that looked very much like the downrods that came with the fan, just longer. We rented scaffolding to make installation possible, but it was a process (not the fan's fault; the cost of scaffolding, extension wiring, tools, and shrink connectors, etc. - all added up to about the same amount as the fan). The main unexpected installation struggle was sufficiently bending the wires that come out the top of the downrod so that we could get the remote receiver in place (it is a _tight_ fit). So, if you use downrods that didn't come with the fan, be aware it will take some effort to get the remote control receiver to fit, even if the downrod looks correct. Balancing was straightforward with the included weights & directions. Pros: •Powerful - this thing moves a lot of air •Quiet - SO quiet •Remote control is great - we love every feature •Timer (hit the 1 or 3 hour timer button & head to bed, knowing it won't needlessly run all night) Meh: •Light is OK, but doesn't get as bright or dim as we had hoped; 3 colors are nice, but because there is only a single button on the remote, you have to cycle to the one you want. It would be _super_ nice if the remote had a separate button to change color/temperature. •It takes a few seconds for the fan to respond to the remote (hit the button & literally count to 3) •The installation video & directions don't match - but this is potentially helpful Cons: None

Received a defective unit. I had this hooked up by an electrician and If you try to use only the fan, it clicks, tries to move, clicks, tries to move and repeats this pattern but it will never run. If I turn on the light the fan starts and runs briefly but if you turn off the light, the power to the fan is cut off and when it stops spinning it goes back to the click pattern. Sent this to the seller and no response so better to tell potential customers. Look elsewhere. Customer service is non existent.
