Fun Lovin Mother's Day Gift!
So, I put this on my Wish List, Family Got it for me for Mother's Day and I LOVE it! I was happy surprised to find out this was a lot bigger then I thought it was. I guess I thought it was more "I'm going to put these cute little things on my desk" but the Bobby Mask is actual face size. It also came with a book, stickers, small posters, the fancy smashing sign and the clock. The only thing that made me sad was the record. As neat was it is to look (especially when it's going around on the record player) It only made it through a couple of songs that it didn't skip through a ton of the song. As much as I was disappointed about that, the record was sort of a bonus and the other items more then made up for it. The box (also way bigger then I thought) is actually pretty sturdy. You sort of have to be careful with the top since it just swings open but, there is nothing flimsy about it at all. It's actually storing my book and record at the moment. :) A definite must have if You Are a Fan of the Game! ;)

Amazing
Best box of collectibles if you're a fan of we happy few very much worth the $30 i paid for this huge box of stuff. The mask is a nice addition to my window and looks scary at night, the clock is what i mostly use but i wouldn't recommend using the alarm function since the beep is really quiet, the lamp is surprisingly bright, the Vinyl works okay since it jumps over a few parts but there is a download code for the soundtrack, theres 3 sticker sheets and the book is basically a parody of a children's activity book, very enjoyable.

Great buy for the money. Quality items.
This collectible set isn't filled with cheap products. No, these items are high-quality and I can't believe this set is selling for so cheap. If you loved the video game, you're going to flip over the collectibles. Sturdy, solid construction of all items, especially so for the mask, stand, clock, and light. Truly a masterpiece and it makes you feel good (and a little bit awed) that you paid a pittance for these collectibles. You can find pictures online of each of the items included, but they just don't do them justice unless you're seeing them in person. Again, I'm still amazed and how awesome this set is and what a bargain it was!

Excellent Quality and Well Worth the Price
Firstly, the quality and quantity of products when compared to the price is absolutely insane, and any one of this box's contents could easily be worth what the whole box is. We Happy Few is one of my favorite games ever, and I absolutely jumped for Joy when I saw that the Time Capsule existed, and I knew I had to get it. But I digress, let me go through everything one by one. The Box: The box itself is made of this heavy duty cardboard, the good quality kind you often see used for box sets of books. It's also humongous, much larger than what is needed to fit all of its contents, so it can be used to store any number of goods (I personally am using it to store comics and graphic novels). The graphics on each side are beautiful and the We Happy Few logo is imprinted in shiny engraving, which is just stunning. How the box itself isn't most of the price is beyond me. The inside is just one large compartment aside from a flatter compartment in the back where the record, book, stickers, and posters are stored. Again, perfect for books or poster storage. All the items are carefully packaged inside for maximum safety so that's how most of the space is taken up. Alarm Clock: Is very cute and about the size of two small fists. The plastic it's made out of is relatively cheap although it's sturdily built. It's pretty light though, so you might wanna make sure to put it somewhere where it's not going to fall down easily if jostled. The alarm tone itself is very polite and pretty nice, but if you're a heavy sleeper even the highest volume will probably not wake you up, it's pretty quiet. For me, it's perfect because I sleep light and most alarms startle me awake something horrid. Lamp: The lamp is made with light plastic, with plastic ''glass'' and has a little switch in the back to turn it on and off. It is, however, incredibly bright, and sticks out like a sore thumb even in bright daylight. It's a legitimately good night light and I use it to read by. And portable, obviously, considering it doesn't have a cord. Overall, it makes for great decoration as well, and a conversation piece. Mask: The mask is insanely high quality. It's made of a heavy matte finish porcelain, so definitely don't drop it, and is actually face-sized. The stand consists of a heavy metal base with a velvet bottom to grip onto a surface, and a plastic rod that fits tightly into a hole in the bottom of the mask. Its very sturdy, difficult to knock down, and a great presentation overall. You can always disassemble it as well, if you want to place the mask elsewhere for decor purposes. Posters: The posters are heavy duty and printed on high quality glossy paper. They come rolled up together so, no creasing, but they're a bit difficult to juggle until you get them in a frame. Otherwise, the prints are beautiful, not much else to say. Plus, they're based off of ingame propaganda posters. Record: I personally love the music of We Happy Few but I collect CDs, not records. At least not yet. So I don't own a record player and I can't actually comment on the quality of it. Other folks have mentioned it being warped or skipping in certain spots, however, so I definitely suggest reading through some of those if you are a record collector. Mine appears to be in excellent condition, however, and the WWBC case is incredibly attractive so, if only for decoration, I love it. How to Be Happy Book: Was much higher quality than I thought it would be. I was expecting some kinda half-assed pamphlet, but it's actually really nice. The cover is heavy duty paper with the Wellington Wells logo actually raised on the front. The pages are made of a heavy glossy paper and it's filled with all kinds of fun trivia and ''activities'', amplifying the kind of vague depravity of Wellington Wells. It's very amusing and I'm gonna be leaving it on my coffee table for unsuspecting visitors. Stickers: Three sheets of good stickers, not much else to say about them either. Good for laptops, coffee cups, water bottles, ect. If it matters, they are matte (which I prefer too). The three sheets have the same four designs, so you have a few chances to use them. They're based off of various posters ingame, a couple of which are incredibly amusing out of context. Overall, wonderful set, well worth the 35 bucks I paid for it. I was genuinely pleasantly surprised by the overall quality. If you like We Happy Few, it's a must-have. Makes for a fantastic gift too, for your local nerd.

Good quality, very fun Time Capsule!
I am a huge fanatic for the We Happy Few game (late to the party, just got into it earlier this year) and when I saw this, I knew I had to have it. The quality on most of the items is stellar, and those few that aren't are still good quality. The art is fantastic. The Bobby's 'mask' stand up is solid. The alarm clock is cute, but it would've been awesome if it had Uncle Jack's voice for the alarm, or part of it at least. The You Look Smashing sign is smashing! The book and signs and stickers are all really cool. But the stand out for me is the vinyl album. SO good. The music is great, the design of the album is wonderful - and it's a nice SOLID one, they didn't scrimp on production values with this one bit (or, again, most of the items.) If you love the game, if you're looking forward to the movie (though I think it'd be better as a limited run tv show, personally), then I highly recommend this to you.

1970’s kids and radical throwback zoomer fans will be a bit disappointed.
This is the coolest package with everything “fan club” you could want. Nothing at all against the creators. HOWEVER Amazon was likely a bit negligent in its storage of this item. Either it was stored in extreme cold or extreme heat, or it was stored under the huge weight of other things. Maybe nobody expected my child (the fan) to actually play the LP?? The LP came to us warped! Not just a little bit warped. Warped enough to cause some skipping in several songs. It wobbles on the turntable pretty intensely. Sad news for such a cool set. Really hope we can someday see a CD of the album so we can retire the wobbly LP.

Great Purchase
I’ve been a fan of the game and was ecstatic when this arrived. The mask is wonderful and came in perfect condition. Always great to mess around with. The stickers are very good quality and make great decorations for anything. I love the alarm clock it’s small but at the same time very robust and really wakes you up with a nice little message. The light is hilarious to have it really ties my room together and is just fun to look at. The vinyl is great to listen to and you can’t help but hear Uncle Jack speaking to you. Overall this was a brilliant purchase and the box is wonderfully robust and great for storage of anything. You really get your money’s worth with this

A Bad Batch of Joy?
At the time of this writing, we are amid a massive quarantine, and during this newly found free time, I have rediscovered my love for We Happy Few! I played it during its alpha days, but life got busy and I haven’t had much time for games since. The game is amazing, but I’m assuming you already know that. This box doesn’t contain any joy pills but I think it contains the next best thing! Let's start with the box! The Box 5/5 Believe it or not, but you should buy this for the box alone! Okay, maybe not but is it larger than I expected and it’s also made out of high-quality dense cardboard with a glossy coating over some of the text and other visual elements. The best example I can make is by comparing it to Apple packaging! I still have my MacBook Pro’s box and they feel very similar! It’s a big box, so who knows where I'll put it, but I’m not throwing it away! Anyway, everything is well packed in there and the presentation is excellent, the box is excellent. Moving on! The Mask 5/5 The mask is probably the main draw for most people and it does not disappoint! The stand has a beautiful mat finish and is weighted so you’ll never have to worry about the mask falling over. The mask is a high-quality display piece that demands attention! It feels like it’s made out of ceramic with a plastic coating on top but I’m not quite sure. It has some weight to it so It doesn’t feel cheap but it’s not too heavy where you couldn’t wear it as a mask. It’s not made to be worn as a mask but you could certainly try to modify it to make it work. I have a larger head so it doesn’t fit me near my brows but it will fit most people especially if you have a more slender head like those in the game. Stickers 5/5 There’s nothing too special here considering they’re just stickers but, there’s nothing to complain about either. You get four sets of the same four stickers, so at least you’ll have duplicates in case you lose or waste some of the other sets. The stickers feature the 1960’s era designs found in the game on various propaganda signs. I don’t really use stickers but they’re good stickers so you’ll probably enjoy them if you’re the type of person who likes to put stickers on your laptop, desk, Xbox, or where ever people use stickers nowadays. Posters 5/5 The posters came rolled up but, considering that’s how most posters come, I guess I can’t complain. They’re good prints and they fit nicely back into the box if you don’t want to use them right away. They also feature some of the propaganda art found across the game and the art in the game is great so obviously, the art is great here too! Sign Lamp 5/5 The lamp is slightly smaller than I expected but at least it's much brighter than I thought it would be. It’s not as nice as the mask or even the box (I really like the box in case you couldn’t tell) but I don’t think that means I should dock any points from it. I doesn’t claim to be anything apart from what it is, so it would be unfair to complain that it’s not some high-quality product. It’s made out of standard plastic and it requires 3 AA batteries (Not included). The colors look a little on the dark side when it’s turned off but it looks great when on. It presents well and, unlike the mask, it fits into a variety of environments without looking out of place! Plus, it won't creep people out like the mask will. Alarm Clock 5/5 This clock is unexpectedly charming. It’s not too large but it's not tiny either. I think the ones seen in the game are slightly bigger but now I’m just pulling hairs. The screen remains dim unless you push any one of the buttons or if the alarm goes off. When the alarm goes off, an image of uncle jack flashes at the top with a message at the bottom reminding you to take your joy. However, I'm not sure if I can comfortably call this an alarm clock. The actual alarm is quiet and nonintrusive so maybe this would be perfect for an office or living room but it’s not loud enough for a heavy sleeper like me. I saw a video review before I bought this so I wasn't surprised, besides, we all use our phones to wake us up so who even uses an alarm clock anymore? The way I see it, if you’re going to have a clock on your nightstand, this is much better than every other boring or generic clock you'll see in every house. How to be Happy Handbook 5/5 Terrible and misleading! I did not discover how to be happy! Total ripoff! Just kidding, and maybe it’s appropriate I didn’t discover the key to happiness since, in Wellington Wells, the key to happiness is to take your Joy! In fact, there’s a little section in the book where they list the top 5 things that make people happy and the first one is Joy while the remaining 4 are blank! That gave me a little chuckle. This is a fun book that you will probably appreciate if you have played the game. You get the brief history of Wellington Wells (or, what history they can remember at least) as well as some fun write-ups on various people across the city. There's a section that highlights a few clubs and locations which are featured in side quests. There's TV listings for Uncle Jack’s shows, and a Calendar with a list of events down in the Parade District. Based on the picture, I thought the book was more of a pamphlet but, although there are only 40 pages, there’s more in there than I thought there would be! It’s presented as an in-game propaganda book so don’t expect to find any behind the scenes or making-of info like you would find in 'The Art of We Happy Few' book, but instead, expect to find a lot of lore and fun tidbits. Vinyl record 3/5 Unfortunately, this is the low point of the whole box for me. The main draw for me was the record because the game has the best soundtrack I have ever heard! The album artwork is simple but very appropriate and the vinyl itself is very colorful while still being authentic to the 1960’s aesthetic. The album features songs from the ‘Make Believes’ which is a made-up 1960s band that was formed just record songs for this game and it is superb! The 11 tracks included are: Side A When You’re Gone Out of the Blue Brassed Off LaLaLa Sunny Day (Broadcast Intermission 2) Side B Zombieland Georgie Joy Dead Chuffed (Broadcast Intermission 1) Dead of Winter Joy and a Happy Face Smiling Crime Unfortunately, although the actual songs are amazing, the vinyl quality is fairly mediocre. The audio quality has some slight cracking and static to it just like you would hear in some older records. But hey, this is a 1960s type album, so maybe the minor imperfections will make it sound more authentic to you! Personally, although the cracking isn't that noticeable, I think it’s a shame especially considering how great the audio quality is on most modern records! What’s even worse is that there's some skipping on side B and, based on what I’ve seen from other reviews, this isn’t an uncommon problem! ‘Zombieland’ skipped four times, ‘Dead Chuffed’ skipped once, and ‘Smiling Crime’ skipped twice! They aren’t major skips but they’re definitely noticeable and, they're still skipping even after cleaning it. However, much to my surprise, the back of the album cover includes a download code for the album on steam! Huzzah! But wait, I can’t even use it because you can’t redeem the album code without purchasing the game on steam first! So, as I said at the beginning of this review, we are currently amid a massive quarantine and because of it, money is a little tight. Despite all of that, I don’t have buyer’s remorse and I think that says a lot! The book is a fun little bit of lore, the alarm and the sign are great display piece only shadowed by the unsettling mask. My only complaint is the vinyl which again, was the main reason I bought this in the first place! I wish there was another way to buy the vinyl but unfortunately, there isn't so I'll have to be satisfied with this. I also wish I was able to redeem the digital code included but I already bought the game on Xbox and Playstation so I’m not about to buy the game on steam just so I can get the soundtrack on digital especially since the game isn’t even playable on my Mac (#firstworldproblems). Despite its flaws, this is by far the best collector’s box I’ve seen and it's a perfect companion piece to ‘The Art of We Happy Few’ book and the Bobby figure! Edit 5/24/2021: I recently replaced the needle on my record player a now the vinyl included in this box only skips about half as much as it used to. However, my previous point still stands since the vinyl is slightly cheaper than others on the market and all of my other records didn't skip with my older needle. This is still a great purchase though and I'm still listening to all the songs a year after my purchase! :)
