Today Gourmet Foods of NC - Veal Cutlets (5lbs) (17-20 4 Ounce Cutlets) (Unbreaded)

There is nothing I like better to eat in the world than veal piccatta and I eat it at Trattoria Tricolouri restaurant on 47th street, one block from Times Square in NYC. They serve the best veal picatta the world. I wanted to try it at home but it is impossible to get veal in Oklahoma so I ordered these cutlets from North Carolina and they are delicious. My girlfriend is a chef and she told me she could prepare me a veal piccatta just as good as the Trattoria Tricoulori - and she was as good as her word. One caveat. You will receive 5# of veal when you order from Gourmet Foods of NC. This should come out to 20 each 4 oz cutlets but don't be surprised if you get 19 instead of 20 as I did twice. It just means that the cutlets are a little heavier than the 4 oz in the description.

These came packaged well in styrofoam with dry ice. Received 20 cutlets 2 to a sealed package cut thin and ready to cook. We had a dinner party for 8 and used them for Weiner Schnitzel everyone loved.

The meat is well packed and arrived fully frozen. The meat quality is very good. One star off for a very high price.

Package individually and this makes it easy. I just put into freezer and take out how many I need. Fast service and received before scheduled date. Will definitely order from this company again.

I use their veal for Wiener Schnitzel, veal Parmigiana and veal cutlets. Their veal is cut to the correct thickness for these items. They respond to orders in a timely manner. Bill
