How to clean this rug ?

Kindly recommend using a low-power vacuum to clean. For small amounts of dirt can be wiped off with a rag. For machine washing, wash separately in cold water (below 30℃/86°F)with mild detergent. Air dry for best care.

How is the plush rug packaged ?

It's vacuum packaged for convenient transportation. There may be some creases and reduced fluffiness when first opened. Lay it flat for 2 to 3 days to restore its full fluffiness.

What's the material ? Does it smell ?

The material is extra-soft microfiber. Due to warehouse storage, if there is a slight odor upon unboxing, simply unfold your rug in a well-ventilated area for 1-2 days to allow the temporary storage smell to naturally dissipate before use

Nice washable rug

Lovely. This is a washable rug. Therefore it's not like your standard rug. It's designed to go in the washing machine. Which if you have pets/kids is a bonus. The negative reviews seem to be from confused buyers who didn't read the details. I have to say it sits well in my kids bedroom. Looks lovely and feels nice to walk on. It does require holding in place with something for safety as its not a heavy rug due to its ability to fit in a washing machine. But for us this was perfect for what we needed it for. Which was another layer to add some form of sound barrier for the kids to be able to play without too much noise/banging coming through the ceiling. Or disturbing the neighbours etc.
