First off, I wasn't expecting the highest quality. I bought these specifically for fishing, so they're going to get trashed over time. However, unlike 'quality' buffs that are SINGLE tube with NO seam, these are two sheet welded 'tubes'. Be that chemcially welded or heat welded or sonically welded, they ARE two seperate 'sides' welded along two seams; as you can see in the pictures. The don't show you THAT in their pictures! The ends of the buffs are UNfinished (see picture), no hem, no surging. They are simply 'hot knife' cut off a LONG production line. So there's nothing to stop them from fraying once that 'hot edge' breaks down. And this has already started after only trying on ONE of the buffs a couple of time. The 'burnt' edge has broken and the threads are starting to break apart. As soon as the material is stretch the ends of the buff (end of the 'tube') have already started curling. This will protect the ends, but will also cause the buff to bunch up, annoyingly. Making finding the end, when 'scrounged' up, difficult as it will be turned inside itself. The material is ultra thin, so much so, my two day old facial growth is poking through. Now, again, I wasn't expecting 'top of the line'. But wasn't expecting tissue paper either. There is NO way these buffs will keep you warm. They may help with sun protection (and being so thin, they won't heat you up)...but I would wonder if they'd do as well as just pulling your shirt over your head. An example of how thin...I can read my monitor through two layers of this buff when it's strectched out. Speaking of stretch...these buffs ONLY stretch width wise. They WILL NOT stretch along their length. BE AWARE of what is offered. If you accept the quality of material, finishing and UNfinishing...pays ya money. If you're thinking 'long lasting quality'...RUN, RUN as fast as you can.
