OutIn Fino Portable Electric Coffee Grinder with 28 Precise Grind Settings

I am a pour over fanatic and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this grinder. I also have the Fellow Opus 2 grinder. It does the grinding well but it does a lot of retention. As a result I have to give it a few loud smack at the end to get all the coffee out. Not only it's loud, especially if I make coffee very early in the morning while everyone is still sleeping, it also makes a mess. I constantly have to wipe around the grinder. It also means I have to add .2 g to my batch. With this Outin Fino grinder, I now no longer use my Fellow Opus, even when I am at home. PROs: - Very quiet - Minimal retention. I only add 0.1 g at the most, or make sure that I add enough beans until the scale almost goes to the next number. - No mess! - Very compact, easy to travel with or store. It looks pretty too. - A full charge lasts a long time. I rarely need to charge it. I've never had it die in the middle of grinding. I charge it about once a week. CONS - It does automatic shutoff, but it does not always detect that there are still beans. I have to shake it to make sure it detects all the beans. It's not a major inconveniences. I usually have to do a quick shake after it shuts off to hear whether there are beans still rattling inside. If there are, then I turn it on again. It's just a few seconds of extra work. I highly recommend this Outin Fino grinder. I use it for travel and also when I'm at home. I wish I knew about this before I bought my Fellow Opus which is now just sitting on my counter as decoration.

Had it for about two months now. Use it once a day for my morning coffee. I've mostly used the fine grind, and the results are consistent and comparable to my Baratza plug in grinder. This has a nice design, feels solidly built, and comes with a convenient traveling/storage pouch. I brew about 20-24 grams of beans and most times it grinds them all in one go. Sometimes some of beans didn't drop all the way down so I need to shake it slightly and run it again for a few seconds to finish the grind. If I was grinding more, I suspect I might have to run it twice to get all the beans. Using it once daily, I've gone about two weeks (M-F) between charges. If I used it multiple times a day I'd probably need to charge it more often. It's also so much quieter than my burr grinder plug in machine too. The ground coffee likes to stick to the top when you unscrew the cup so the brush it comes with is helpful. Though I just tap it gently a couple times and a lot comes loose. The only thing I wish was if the cup at the bottom had some kind of subtle spout design for better control when pouring the ground coffee into my aeropress device. Sometimes it spreads out a little when pouring and some of it misses the Aeropress funnel, which makes a mess. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase so far, and I hope it lasts a long time. If it does, then it was well worth the price tag. Would recommend it. Though wait for it to go on sale maybe if you're having sticker shock, cause it does sometimes drop. I think I saw it at ~$89 in this past year.

So happy that I bout it. It's quite, easy to clean. Been using it for couple of months now. Just charge it, and you can use it anywhere. And since I go camping, it's a total live saver for me.

Different coffees have different densities and need to be ground slightly differently for espresso. Dense dry process beans I grind on #2-#3, but washed Columbian I grind on the finest setting and sometimes feel that it could be finer because the shot runs a little fast. I use it with the Outin Nano brewer and a Rocket Appartamento, grind sizes are the same for each machine. Works well for larger grinds as well of course. It is really, really slow as well. Several minutes to grind 18 grams for a double shot. About the same time as a hand grinder. But the grind is fantastic, consistent and makes a great cup.

Works very well. Holds a LOT of coffee. perfect grind. Looks sharp. Battery lasts a long time. Highly recommended.

This is a great little device. Use for making fresh coffee for a cross country trip and worked spectacularly!

Almost never take the time to write a review, but I hope the manufacturer is reading these. I tried two of these before giving up and purchasing a different brand. The Outin Fino Portable Electric feels like a premium electric coffee grinder. Aesthetically pleasing with quality materials and packaging. Unfortunately, it consistently fails to grind all of the beans... Not even close before the bean sensor turns it off. Sure, you can shake it a few times and start it again... And then again! You'll likely still have some beans left in it which are a PIA to shake out. Totally unacceptable - Especially given it's price... Bottom line: This coffee grinder is not ready for prime time and I'm honestly very surprised Outin sent this to production in its current form. Definitely, needs a rework/redesign to properly perform it's basic function of grinding coffee beans. After trying two of these I purchased a different brand at half the price of the Outin and it performs perfectly. There were some things I really liked about the Outin, but it fails at its basic function - Grinding beans. If they ever come out with an updated model/version 2 maybe I'll give it another try....

Es una chulada. PAra buen café expresso y americano en la oficina. Solo acepta cápsulas originales de nespresso. Virtuo y keurig no. El café molido debe ser para expresso y previamente molido. Hay una opción de canasta grande que ya veré después si compro. Recomendable y el color está muy xido

Es fantástico! Se lo regalé a mi pareja que es amante del café y le encantó, se lo puede llevar a todas partes, es muy cómodo de utilizar, no ocupa espacio, tienes diferentes medidas para que sea más fino o más grueso el café y es muy bonito estéticamente. Vale la pena!
