We’ve had this kitchen island for about six months. I wasn’t thinking about how much space the shelves on the doors took up so there’s very little space to store anything on the inside which is a bummer for me. We absolutely love the fact that the trashcan is hidden because our dogs love to rummage through the garbage while we’re not home. The downside is the screws have already ripped from the hinge plate and now I can’t use my hidden trashcan. Hubby is going to have to take it apart and put a new piece of wood in there because it has ripped through the press board. Keep in mind we are not in the kitchen a lot. We own a bakery so we cook our food out there a lot of the times. There are no children in the house so this was not mistreated. It seems that it’s just a bad design. Hubby suggestion is when you put it together. Make sure to put glue in with each screw so hopefully they won’t be able to pull out and cause a big hole.

This mobile island counter is the most satisfying piece of furniture I've bought this year, so I must give it a big thumbs up. When I first bought this white mobile kitchen island, I was mainly looking for extra counter space and storage space in my compact apartment kitchen. To my surprise, what I received completely changed the way I cooked and entertained myself. The storage space is very considerate - the spice racks on the two barn doors keep all my seasonings in good order and visible, and the adjustable shelves can hold everything from tall olive oil bottles to small appliances. The dedicated drawer perfectly accommodates my cooking utensils. It is worth mentioning that the trash can compartment is a very ingenious design. It controls the smell and keeps my floor free of clutter.

I love this island! It was a lifesaver for my tiny kitchen. Overall, is a good value for the price. Took a few days to assemble alone. The foldable part of the countertop came a bit warped and still is after 6 months. Otherwise, it's held up well to daily use. Design flaw to work out- items that fall below the garbage can compartment can only be removed through disassembly of the door or very creative vacuuming.

Great island for the price. Seems to be sturdy so far. The hideaway trash area is nice to have. Good amount of storage.

Would have given 5 stars but for the odor from the materials. Took a couple of days for it to subside.
