My daughters claimed this Lilac Stanley Quencher H2.0 the minute they saw it (of course they are full members of the “Stanley crowd”). It’s the perfect size for school, fits cup holders, and actually keeps cold stuff cold for hours which means fewer “can you warm my lunch” arguments at dinner. The handle is comfy and the cup feels solid in the hand. Great design, great colors, great flex on the ‘Gram. Why not five stars? Two reasons: 1. The lid is marketed as “splash-resistant” and does pretty well until it doesn’t. Tilt it the wrong way (or let an excited kid carry it), and water will find a way out. Plenty of other reviewers say the same some folks even buy aftermarket “spill-proof” fixes or replacement lids. So yes, it’s better than an open cup, but it’s not magic. (Pro tip: don’t test gravity with a full cup on carpet.) 2. These things are LOUD when they hit the floor. My daughters treat them like percussion instruments: one clatter and you’d think a tiny cymbal section joined the household. If you like drama and acoustics, you’ll get your money’s worth. If you’ve ever had to apologize to a sleep-walking sibling after a 7 a.m. Stanley drop, you’ll understand. (Also ice + stainless + kitchen tile = dramatic sound effects.) On the plus side: the FlowState 3-position lid (straw, drink spout, closed) is useful and versatile, and Stanley did tweak the redesign to improve things like cup-holder fit and lid security so the brand seems aware and working on it. If the lid were totally leakproof this would be an easy five. A couple more things I learned from the hive mind of Stanley owners: people recommend deep-cleaning the lid parts regularly (there are tiny nooks that like to hide old smoothie residue), and there are legit spill-stopper accessories you can buy if you’re particularly clumsy or have small children. Worth knowing if you want to avoid swampy lid surprises. Bottom line: stylish, durable, and excellent at keeping drinks the right temperature but not quite invincible. If your family is the classic Stanley pack (like mine), you’ll love it despite the occasional leak and the dramatic floor percussion. Four stars because it does a lot right, just not the one thing I secretly wanted it to do: be silent and 100% leakproof.

I purchased this for my toddlers because both of them love my Stanley and I imagined it would be the cutest thing ever. **Spoiler alert: it is in fact ridiculously cute**. I included a size comparison to a full size Stanley in my pictures. This size is perfect for both my 1yo and 3 yo. It also is just about the perfect size for my husband's coffee in the morning. Pros - quality- it's the same quality as the full size Stanley. I don't anticipate it will break/crack as it is the same durable metal cup and thick plastic lid. - includes a quality straw - *cleaning*- I've thrown many cups away that are designed for kids due to not being able to clean everywhere leading to mold build up. I am confident that I can clean every speck of this cup to ensure there is no mold. I fill a mixing bowl with vinegar water to let it sit, then clean with dawn as usual. Cons - not leak proof- as with the big size Stanley, this is not a leak proof cup, it will leak if it falls over or your (my) 1yo tips it upside down. Overall I think this was worth the price due to it being metal and fully able to be cleaned. And the cuteness, obviously.
