Wonderful. Now with updates. Even more updates now not so great BROKE
Please excuse my outdated countertops, but I absolutely love this ice machine. It’s like sonic ice more dense. I find ice like sonic to melt quickly, but this is dense enough that it does not. I originally got it because I’m an ice chewer, and this was recommended by my dentist. I absolutely love it. The cleaning procedure is easy and it keeps up with two of us in the house. We go through about a gallon of water a day using this machine. Full disclosure we bought the extended warranty as well. Be prepared to pay attention to the measurements when we got it in, was bigger than I originally imagined. The noise level is about the same as the refrigerator, with the occasional is that you, Satan sound here and there. I will update if anything happens to the machine in the next year. April update: so the “Is that you Satan” noises have begun to get louder and louder. And now occasional it growls at me. Yes Growls. I googled it and that’s what people said ice machines can do (growl) when a compressor pump is starting to decline. It’s still making ice just fine, but I’m staring to thank my stars we bought the warranty (just in case) July 2023 update : new pic shows that the power light has now burned out. I no longer have to worry about wondering if Satan is in my kitchen. He definitely is the sounds are coming from this machine now make your head turn. It’s still working it’s still making ice he just comes with a concert. If you’re going to buy this brand, I highly suggest getting the warranty. I have no doubt we’re going to have to use it. DEC2023 As you can tell from the new video, we have a solo artist that serenades us every day all day. Instrument of choice : MAC Truck. This ice maker is so loud now and it’s just annoying. The light that indicates Ice, someday it’s on Some days not even though it doesn’t get turned off. We have started to notice that occasionally it just shut itself off as well. The whole machine just stops. Always tends to happen to so that when we wake up in the morning, there’s no ice.. the biggest problem is it will start to make ice slowly suddenly and then quit making it while it’s still running though. I have to put hot water or lukewarm water in it run a cleaning cycle and then it’ll make ice for about 24 hours before it freezes up again I’m assuming it’s freezing up. Contacted manufacturer found out it’s over $70 to ship the icemaker to them that you have to pay for if you want a warranty claim. Additionally, the extended warranty we bought want to help us until the manufactures warranty goes out but if you look at our paperwork, it says that extended warranty starts the day of purchase. I kinda had a feeling this would happen considering we paid $11 for the extended warranty and I think now it’s over 100. I have the feeling this ice machines on its last leg and I’m really disappointed that for an ice machine over $300. This is what we got. Kind of wish I had got an opal now. I have now reduced the rating from five stars to three because in less than a year this is unacceptable. Like I said, I have a feeling am going to be on the phone a lot trying to get this fixed. I would actually look somewhere else for an ice machine now, I would not recommend this one March 2024: this has started to make what I call soft ice. It’s not freezing all that well and melts quick and it’s like a shaved ice consistency. Most of the lights in the front no longer light up so I have to pay attention to what it needs or there’s no ice when it does work. When it run making ice or cleaning the video shows you the god awful sound it makes. Now I get a chance to use the warranty I bought and review it. Let’s see if they still honor it since we only paid 11$ for it and it’s well over 100 now. Lost another star. Just stay away from this model I wish I would have. After further investigation by chewing on more ice I found black plastic in my ice (see pic) yep ladies and gentlemen, it has broke. That is why it’s making soft ice it’s broke. So now I have the wonderful job of getting with the insurance company to see if they’re gonna give me the runaround or fix it. Amazon seems to think they’re going to refund me my money. I should’ve bought the opal!

Love it still even with some issues
I bought this June 24, 2023 so just shy of a year ago. It’s been great, especially since our fridges ice machine is broken and of course nugget ice is the best. Fast forward a year and there have been some small issues, the water tank being hard to remove sometimes and it not always registering when you’ve filled it up with water so you just turn it off and turn it back on. But about 3 days ago water started leaking out of the bottom rubber base/feet grip things (yes, all 4) and it just makes a mess. It still works great otherwise but it makes a mess with the water dripping out of them.

Fantastic & Fast ice
Appliance worked amazingly 24/7 for about a year & a half before starting to struggle. We use filtered water for it, but we live in Iowa & our water is notoriously gross. This is our 2nd countertop nugget ice maker and we can't live without it at this point. Overall this beauty looked lovely on the counter & worked quietly until recently. It's a little pricy for a product that will die in such a short amount of time. Quality of ice & speed of filling were top notch. We could probably get it to limp along to the 2 year mark, but the noise & inconsistent ice making aren't worth the hassle. Not sure if I will buy the same one again or a different brand.

Loved it. Updates!
**Update** It hasn’t even been 2 years and this ice machine is on its last legs! The lights that tell you that power is going to the machine, or indicate what mode it is in (either cleaning or ice making) went out completely after about 6 months. I didn’t think too much of it because it was still making ice just fine. Not anymore. Now the machine whines like a power steering pump that needs to be replaced. And it spits out one to two ice cubes every 15 minutes. So needless to say, it’s not filling up the ice basket anymore. One of the best things about it use to be how quickly it made tons of ice. We’re coming up on summer here in the south and where we live gets several 100°+ days each year, so an ice machine isn’t just a luxury, it’s a necessity. Now, I’ll be in the market for a new machine much faster than I anticipated. I love icy cold drinks and perfectly chewable ice. This ice machine allows me to have both of those. It makes ice quickly, and more than enough for our family of 3 to use in a day. It is tall for a countertop appliance, so I would double check the measurements and make sure it can fit underneath your upper cabinets if that’s what you have planned. Now for what I’m guessing will be the biggest complaint amongst most people, she is a loud machine. I personally don’t mind it that much because my home is filled with other loud people and appliances 24/7/365, so I tune it out pretty easily. We use filtered water from a Pur filter and our ice tastes great, no weird metal or plastic tastes. Maintenance is also pretty easy and all the instructions for the machine are clear and easy to follow in the manual.

Great ice maker, but a little overpriced for what it is. Time will tell
Good ice maker, improperly labeled though. I had a less expensive ice maker that was just fine in terms of production, but I SPECIFICALLY wanted one that made bigger nuggets. This one is bigger and produces ice faster, however it DOES NOT PRODUCE S/L nuggets. It can ONLY DO small nuggets. No knock on the actual unit itself, but buyer beware. While I will keep it, I could have bought a second one and gotten more ice if that was the goal. On the plus side, it is easier to maintain and the big water reservoir is quite convenient, especially since you can remove it or pour while it is in the unit. If I didn't have a preference for bigger nuggets this would be 5 stars, however do to being misled on the product advertising I will knock off one star. If it lasts throughout the years then I will consider it money well spent, I am just a bit disappointed that I was misled in the description as I would have gotten a different model at this price point for that feature.
