How do you stop it from telling you it's connected and paired every 10 minutes?

Mine does not do that. Once I pair it with my phone and press play on my music it's fine. It only says that when I turn it on to use and connect it to my bluetooth on my phone. Once I've set up the bluetooth on my phone and press the power button on the device it says "paired" and then I can start my music. Maybe your bluetooth signal is weak or it's in and out of range?

Is this speaker compatible with an iPod?

yes, sure, this speaker could connect with almost bluetooth devices,such as smartphone, tablet,laptop, computer,TV....

Can I make phone calls?

Yes, I have had it make phone calls (accidentally) by pushing the buttons on the speaker when it’s connected to my phone. That feature is super annoying.

Can you get an wall outlet charger for this speaker ?
