which brushes can be used with pastels?

I think any brush could be used with pastels. All my paint brushes, and I have many different types from different makes, are used with oils, watercolors, acrylics, and painting varnish on the finished painting. I haven't used them on pastels, but only because my pastels are chalk. Otherwise, I would use any/all of my paintbrushes with that, too.

What's your angle? Ha ha-get it? Please describe difference.

I've used both brands and prefer Langnickel because the brush strokes seem a bit sharper and the brushes hold their shape(s) well despite a lot of use. However, I also found the Aqualon Royal brushes to be perfectly satisfactory; just not as compatible with the kind of work I do. [So that's my angle and I'm stickin' to it! Hardy, har har!] The prices are the same so I suppose it's really a matter of preference. I hope this helps.

Are these brushes for oils

According to the description, it says "Professional artist grade brush for acrylics, ink, ceramic underglazes and watercolor." It doesn't mention oils. I would suggest writing to the manufacturer.

Can these brushes be used with oil paints?

I bought them for use with Genesis Heat Set Paints, which I believe are oil based. I do use the paint thinned really well with odourless solvent. Hope that helps you .
