Melodies in Motion Wall Clock, Starry Night

This is my Second Animated theme Seiko Wall Clock. Love the quality clock & animated movement. This one having a larger speaker than my first clock thereby the musical audio is fuller. My first clock 17 years ago still works which I got at a warehouse club store where you see the less expensive models every Christmas. This one is a lot more expensive because of the particular model & features. Well worth it. Makes a great Gift for Birthdays, Weddings, & Retirement. Amazon 2 day shipping was fantastic for people that just can’t wait & play with this new edition for your home.

There really isn't a whole lot to say. If you already know about Seiko clocks, you can plainly see what this one looks like. However, the pictures on Amazon do not really do it justice. This clock is gorgeous. On the hour (or when you press the demo button) the clock face breaks into 4 parts and they all spin 360 degrees, with a couple of pauses, and then they all come back together in about a minute. When the face comes apart, there are larger spinning gears behind, and they are inlaid with colored glass that are very beautiful. The gears spin, and the fireworks and stars around the edges light up. The ferris wheel at the center at the bottom also spins constantly, not just on the hour. It's just enough movement you make you admire the conservative care and beauty that went into making this clock. The only real con is that it only comes with six melodies. For $400, yo would think they could add at least another six. But that really is a minor gripe, the clock would be worth it if there were no melodies. If you want to see what it looks like when playing the songs and coming apart, search YouTube for "Seiko" and just find this clock.

Absolutely wonderful. Bought it for a 25th anniversary gift, a big hit. Able to turn sound low if desired.

tWASN'T EVWas a wedding gift for my daughter. She had found it on the Seiko site & loved it so I knew if they finally tied the knot I was getting it! Was over A $100.00 less on Amazon! They absolutely love it. Definately mesmerizing.

Got this for Christmas. I wish it played more songs. I only know 2 of the melodies. It plays the same song upon opening and closing each hour. It will play a different song as the insides spin around. We are going to have to put a spotlight on it to be able to see the face really good. We keep our curtains closed and without a lot of light it's a little bit hard to see the gold hands. The wheel at the bottom spins all the time. When the face opens up there is some lights that go up each side of the wheel then comes out at the 11 and 2 so that it makes it look like a type of firework going up. The directions that come with it show the wrong place to turn the music volume on or off. We put it in the corner over the tv and it worked out perfectly.

It’s expensive but works perfectly and the musical tones are rich. I wanted one that played Amazing Grace to me and it does!

Belle horloge, bien faites et qui fonctionne très bien. Le son des airs musicaux est beau et réglabe ce qui peut être utile parfois. Elle tient bien l'heure.

Beautiful music hourly

A great gift, showcase, conversation starter, timekeeper, and something that everyone can appreciate. I particularly like the Seiko starry night's dial which has a beautiful centerpiece when light bounces off it. Only negative is that the packaging needs to be sealed.

El reloj es bueno me hubiese gustado que tuviera al menos 18 melodías ya que algunos cuentan con 40 las manecillas me hubieran gustado en color negro porque el dorado se pierde en la esfera
