It's perfect. It was easy to mount, easy to see and accurate.

Simple and effective

Works fine, although the screws that come are weak, and I broke one installing the brakes into the aluminum railing. It tells me how much rain we really had vs what they tell us we had. I also like that it is one piece. My previous one started leaking at a seam in the bottom where a tube was fastened to a base.

Excellent product

This product does not last. I had this in my garden where it worked great…until it didn’t. The plastic apparently can’t survive north Dallas winter temperatures and cracked along the bottom, which I found out today after we got a lot of rain and I went out to check and see how much and there was nothing in the gauge. That is when I noticed the crack. It apparently happened sometime in the last few weeks. This should come with a product warning to put it in your garage in the winter because the plastic doesn’t last. I had a plastic rain gauge in the past and it lasted years. This barely lasted nine months.
