I bought this on recommendation of my exterminator to place in my attic along with some strobe lights to scare off an iguana who had taken up residence. Unfortunately the iguana liked to party and enjoyed the new music and light show. We did eventually get him out but not because of these efforts. It’s a decent little radio for an affordable price that will run on battery or ac.

Simple to use radio!
Works really good. Stations come in nice and clear. Doesn't take up a lot of space. I like a simple radio that I can just plug in and tune.

Great inexpensive basic radio.
This is my favorite cheap radio I've ever had and I've had a few of them. This thing is ridiculously light, you can hook it with your pinky and take it from room to room. Reception is very good, I've never even needed to extend the antenna and most importantly to me is the tuning dial is tight, meaning if you bump it or something you won't lose your station. And the volume is great. I have other radios where every time I go to use one, I have to find the station again and with no digital readout, finding a channel is sometimes a nuisance. I use this in the house, in the garage and in my workshop. Should I drop a hammer on it, no biggie, it's cheap enough to get another one or two. And it' be loud if you want
