I'm extremely happy with my purchase! ๐
My grown Son bought one through Amazon, I was so impressed I bought one too (I bought mine directly through Hiboy. Shipping took an extra day but they don't charge taxes, just a $17.98 International sales fee, so I saved like $50 ๐) I live 11.3 miles from my job and I can make it there and back on a full charge. I did a lot of research before I bought this and learned that most scooters don't go as far as advertised but this one gets damn close! I'm not a little tiny girl either, I stand 5' 8" and weigh 170 lbs. However, I did go for the optional seat and I think that makes a difference, I seem to go just a bit faster when I'm sitting and I think it makes less wind resistance so that might be a factor in battery life. (But just a smidge) And as awesome as the battery life is, what REALLY sold me was the e brake and solid tires!! I won't lie, it's a ROUGH ride. ( I DO NOT suggest this for county or rural areas. It'd be absolutely impossible on a dirt or gravel road.) I happen to live in Las Vegas and it is absolutely amazing in an urban (paved road) setting!! If not for the solid tires, I'd have been stuck on the side of the road, late for work, several times already! I have ran over sharp rocks, broken glass, random metal scraps, nails and/or screws, and I just keep cruising. My Son bought an Evercross and had SOOOO many problems with the tires and disk breaks. (No offense to Evercross, he still got 900+ miles out of it and the engine and battery are still good) These were problems I didn't want to deal with and so I wasn't interested in electric scooters...then he bought an S 2 pro with the e brake โค๏ธ. It doesn't need to be constantly adjusted AND it feeds back in to the battery!!! I know this has both, but honestly, I don't even use the disk brakes unless I'm already stopped and just don't want it to roll. If you are just doing research at this point I can't stress this enough THE E BRAKE IS AWESOME AND MAINTENANCE FREE!!! Disk brakes are a pain in the butt!!!! I debated between this and the Titan but the e brake was the tie breaker. As far as the lights, I feel like the red underlighting makes you visible to traffic and the headlight is plenty bright but it points about 5 feet+++ ahead of you. I added a cheap flashlight to the bottom of the handlebar stem to light the ground in front of the tire. Also, the lights don't seem to suck much juice. I get the same milage with the lights on or off, so you won't have to choose between safety and milage. Overall, I'm EXTREMELY HAPPY with my purchase, it's a BLAST to ride, easy to control, solid construction except the handlebars (easy fix) ((the welds are beautiful on the body!!)) Oh! I almost forgot. It's simple to put together, just a few screws and they include all the wrenches you will need. But you will have to pull the black wire out a bit from the bottom so the handlebars fit. DO NOT try to jam it in place on top of the wire. This part will make sense when you put it together ๐ Update: still running like a champ. I tighten all the bolts once or twice a month and ALWAYS store it inside, but otherwise absolutely no maintenance at all. I have not had to fix or replace a single part. I still get 19 mph and 26 miles to a charge! That's just insane to me after all this time. I'm really happy to see the price has dropped considerably since I purchased mine because I recommend Hiboy to everyone. I honestly only expected about two years out of it but it's been almost FIVE YEARS now. I wish it had an odometer, I'd love to know how many miles it's got on it because I ride it almost daily. I knew Hiboy was a good brand but I never expected such quality. I think it's priced at $400 now, do the math. $400 for 5 years (so far) that's $80 a year!!! And the way it's holding up I really think I might get ANOTHER 5 years of riding it.

Convenient
Itโs perfect for me to get to work and home safe and the e brake makes it so much easier to stay on point. It has auto cruise so when thereโs no one around hold the button down for 10 seconds and let it ride itself! The tires are a decent size so the ride isnโt that bumpy. Thereโs grips on the handle bars so even if you hit a hard bump or a sudden stop, you wonโt fly off. Itโs an all around great scooter and itโs making my life so much easier. Itโs hot as hell out here in SC but on the fastest speed I donโt even have deal with that deadly heat, I just be cruising and as long as I donโt forget my shades Iโm good. I canโt lie, I love this damn scooter, and thereโs a slow speed so you can ride on the sidewalk if you want to. You ainโt gotta worry about gas prices or maintenance, you just charge your scooter up like a cell phone and thatโs it! Best scooter Iโve ever had , make sure you get one with a seat though. Itโs a lot more comfortable

Good for commuting but it is dangerous due to the quality of construction.
I have used it for about two years now. It gets me to where I'm going well. It's a comfortable ride and 19 miles an hour for >10 miles fits what I need. Be wary though as the cheap construction of the support arm can lead to dangerous situations. My arm cracked completely in half while riding on a flat bike path home at 19 mph. I am extremely lucky to have not been seriously injured for this issue. There picture provided shows the weak connection of the pole to the bottom with the screws. That is where it cracked. The warranty is clearly 1 year (I have had it for longer, almost 2 years) and support has denied sending me a new arm to replace it for no cost because its out of warranty (understandable) but the severity and danger associated with this issue should go past that. Edit: Oct 28 2024: They have sent me a replacement arm for no cost after asking again. Elsa sent me an arm with all required materials and protocols for installation. The new arm seems improved with less points of failure. I will continue to use this scooter as my daily commuter as before! Conclusion: good scooter for getting from point A to point B quickly but there may potentially be other safer options out there

Best Electric Scooter w/ even better Customer care
Hi, Amazon shoppers! If your looking for a quality scooter look no further! I recently purchased the HiBoy S2 pro 10โ for getting to and from work. I live in an urban area with plenty of sidewalks and I needed something that would save gas money and was easy to store and carry. So thus began my search for an electric scooter or bike. I was going to purchase a cheaper electric bike but I bumped into a woman who was on a HiBoy and she had a lot of experience with electric bikes and scooters she had purchased 4 other brands previously and they were all problematic compared to the HiBoy which was sturdy enough to get in a couple accidents and still run like a charm. So I was sold and now that I have it im so glad I listened to her I absolutely love it and gets me around everywhere and no flat tires ever because of their genius solid no air tire design! Also their customer service is seriously top notch these guys and girls care and work fast on any issues you might have as one of their customers.

Worth the money.
Got it while on sale with coupon for $595. Good value for the money. Never owned or rode a scooter before. Feel like its a good value for the price. Pros: no flat tires, zero start if using the app. Can adjust how fast your scooter accelerates, or stops in the app. Can adjust top speed and cruise control speed. App is very user friendly. Like the option that you can still use the scooter without downloading the app.(some limitations without the app. ) Enough space for your feet if you want to ride standing up, even with the seat. I had it for 1 week but it gives you a feel like it is made to last. Fun to ride. Cons: You can feel every crack in the concrete due to solid tires (which i expected to happen before i purchased it). The seat it comes with not very comfortable. Bought an oversized seat from wallmart and foam seat cover for an extra $50. Ride after that feels much smoother. I am 220 pounds and on flat surface in comfort mode can get about 14 miles per charge. I wish it was a little closer to 25 miles as advertised. Overall give it 5 stars. Very impressed with how it is made and rides. Just wish that actual mileage per charge would be closer to that they advertise.

Very rough ride slows u and unsure how to..
CON'S FIRST The 10in tires don't mean much when they're solid!!! you feel every little bump or defect of any path you use... Off-road I would definitely not suggest!!! looking at prior reviews it's apparent that there's an issue with the quality of material between handle and deck?? which I can feel when I ride!! It seems or feels like it's going to collapse on me which brings me to next "con" 2nd wich is my main issue it feels very unsupportive I'm 170lbs 6ft it rattles it shakes and I just don't feel like it's going to hold/support me!!!๐ฌ everything is as tight as it can get and it's just a little unsettling feeling... haven't had any issues but I'm scared go over too large of a bump or crack because it may snap... 3rd when you are declining on a slope or hill the scooter slows and doesn't allow you to go over 19 MPH??? I thought it was for adults I would understand the auto slowing if it was for children but why would you slow me down on a trek across town?? 4th Tires are very thin and seem to lose traction and slides out extremely easy... 5th You don't know how to operate it because there is no manual and expect me/youv to be able to operate/use a cell phone while operating this impossible.. I can't use cruise control unless I push the button on app??? 6th PRICE IS HIGH IDK IF IT'S WORTHY OF $700 OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY PRO'S FIRST the seat is nice to have and it seems more unscary while ride with the seat.. 2nd it goes pretty quick and no issue's with take off or stopping.. 3rd the commuting distance I haven't had an issue with seems to keep its charge well so far After a few more rides hopefully I'll decide to keep it but as of now it looks like I may send it back because the cons really are outweighing the pros I've had it for one week only so far I'm going to give it a fair chance though!!

Battery failure is common
The unit is solidly built. It performs as expected. However, the company apparently has contracted with an inferior battery supplier. After two charges, my unit stopped charging. It became unusable. I reviewed multiple sources, blogs, support pages. It is clear that the company made a poor decision in choosing the battery manufacturer they did, given that the unit is otherwise so well-made. Ordinarily, one wound pity them, as they certainly must be disappointed and embarrassed for their poor choice. BUT, instead they have let their customers finance their error. Since the unit return policy ends after one month, they will not replace the battery or the unit and the customer is left with a non-functional useless scooter which will best serve as garbage in a dumpster, where it now resides. As a follow up. The staff at hiboy established communication with me and more than satisfactorily put forth an effort to remedy my complaint. They remained professional and courteous. I am happy to share the news that this company is trying to address the concerns of their customers!

Lightweight, fun, But very slippery and safety needs to be addressed.
Hello Hi-Boy, I've owned this scooter for few months now, I've waited patiently to give an honest review. I'll get straight to it Pros : Battery life, Lightweight, easy to carry and store, fun to ride, lights all around Cons: Very slippery tires when wet -most people will most likely ride on the sidewalk or the road. When I ride personally switch between road and sidewalk, and this is where you always need to be careful. Sometimes the sidewalk may be wet for whatever reason, sprinkler, broken pipes, or even water from food trucks. Any little moisture or liquid gets on those tires, the scooter will loose %100 traction and you will fall. No front shocks- The front wheel of this scooter was not designed to take uneven bumps, so you will need to lift the front wheel while approaching an uneven pavement, similar to skateboarding, the rear tires do have suspension that takes bumps well. Folding Mechanism- This scooter folds well, but when unfolded and ready to ride, there's a safety hazard. The locking mechanism bucks open while riding causing the handle to pull towards you basically sending you to the ground. The pin catch is so small and will buck open under slight pressure and I didn't expect that from them. This happened to me today and I fell off the scooter, luckily I saved myself from serious injuries. They should make a more secure handle locking system. Screws loosen- Use Loctite on all screws or they will come loose. Be careful when tightening the screws, the screws tend to break and become loose so the Allen key will just spin in there
