Strong Enough for Effortless Magnetism
I don't remember exactly what I paid, but I remember thinking it was a bit much for a 🧲.After using this a couple of months, I'm so glad my cheap a$$ bought it, though. I use this for my keys with my Mazda 3i. Here's, plain and simple, why I like it...1.) Biggest reason is my right knee would tend to hit the key fov and house keys dangling from the ignition when I drive. Now, I quickly and easily detach the keys and place them in the center console while driving.2.) I can keep the car running while I check get to the mailbox, or when I frequently have to unbuckle and go back inside immediately after starting the car and realizing I forgot something. (Probably a mask.)3.) It detaches so easily, despite a super strength magnet. I know I referenced this above, but it's worth its own number.4.) The magnet is strong enough that reattaching is effortless. You simply need to get them close and let the magnet make the connection for you. It works 8 or 9 out of 10 times. Sometimes, the key ring - or keys themselves - get in the way and you have to look.I plan on buying two more, one for each of my motorcycles soon.

Powerful!
It def does its job! Suprising strong. I love to fidget with things when I’m anxious or board. This thing kept my hands busy for hrs. Just be careful not to pinch yourself lol.

Works great
I had a quick release keychain, the type that uses ball and latch mechanism that you need to push in the button to attach/release. That worked well but was a pain as it requires 2 hands and some dexterity. This magnet keychain makes it so much easier to use even with just one hand. The magnet is very strong and I doubt it will come apart on its own. It’s almost a little too strong and will attract to some of the keys but I prefer too strong over not strong enough. Looks cool too.

Holds Like Superglue!
I was looking for a detachable keychain because I frequently need to detach my key fob from my key ring. I was about to pull the trigger on another item, but a number of reviews complained that the magnet wasn't very strong and it sometimes separated without their noticing. That was a deal killer for me because I don't want my key fob to come off and not know it.You won't have that problem with this keychain. I sometimes play with it to see if I can hold the two sides close but keep them from connecting. I haven't "won" yet, the magnet is that strong. So, I know I don't have to worry about my key fob separating and my not knowing it. (In fact, I think if you scroll through the reviews, you'll find someone who complains that the magnet is too strong for their liking!)

Works great... maybe a little TOO great
PROS: o Well made o super strong magnets o MADE IN THE USA!!!!!!CONS: o super strong magnetsThis thing is very well made. I do like it a lot, however, I did not really consider that, when separated, the two halves would latch on to EVERYTHING ferrous. It became so constantly stuck to everything else that I got a little frustrated with using it as I originally intended. Then I discovered that if I use the two halves separately, I have TWO magnetic key rings that I can stick to metal objects to hang up my keys. While it doesn't solve the problem of the magnets wanting to stick to all things ferrous, it does alleviate my frustrations of trying to mate the two halves when they are both trying to stick to everything else. I currently use one half to keep keys that I need for work in my truck, so they are always "with me". The other is stuck to the metal book case above my computer, and I have the ends of two USB cables that are always connected to the USB hub fed through the key ring to keep them handy for use.

These are great
I bought a few of these same keyrings about 10 years ago off Ebay. They have been awesome with one caveat... you have to replace your steel keyrings with some that are non magnetic. If you don't these are annoying to use since everything gets jumbled up on the magnets. Once the ferrous keyrings are replaced these become one of those things that you become dependent upon. When you have more than one set of these you need to work out the polarity combination for your use case. I put the positive poles on the vehicle keys and the negatives on house keys and belt loop hooks.I recently bought another from amazon for use at work. Equipment I work with required a key that must be removed after use for safety reasons. Needing quick access to that key a few dozen times a day, this is a great solution. With one side of this secured to my vest the key can stay with me, quickly pulled free for use and reattached effortlessly with one hand quickly. This is much better than sorting through a pocket full of items for the key repeatedly.

Strong connection!
Have been using this for a while now. The magnetism is very strong! Now I can leave my car running whenever I need to grab my key and run back into my place like I have to every other day. Also, I can pull all my excess keys off the ring whenever I’m driving, so I don’t have to hear them rattle against my steering column. And, I can leave the excess keys in my car when I go into work and I can take only the key fob I need to get around. Also, I can store my keys on the light switch next to my front door, by separating the two parts of this keychain and magnetically sticking them to the metal screws on the outlet. In addition, the brass finish on this keychain is pretty attractive.

Great product but there's something you need to know
This is a really nice product, nothing like the cheap junky ones that sell few a few bucks. This is a quality key connector, maybe over priced but I'd rather pay for excellence than have crap. The one thing people should know is that each half of this "clip" is a separate strong magnet. Of course that's what makes it work so well, but each magnet will clamp tightly to any ferris metal. That said, (in my case) the magnet clamps immediately to the various rings on my key cluster; this is great in that I can toss the key in my pocket with the other keys and it will grab onto something, on the other hand it's slightly tedious to set it right each time for me on my cluster key ting. All in all it's a great product that absolutely filled my need. I'd buy again in a heartbeat.
