Size Guide: XS (extra small) kittens up to about 2.5 kg usually fit the extra small size. S (small) approx. 2.5-5.0 kg cats adults cats with small bones carry small. M (Medium) approx. 5.0-7.5 kg. Take out one of the nail caps and try them on your cat's claws without glue to ensure a snug fit. 2. Cut the cat claws to the same length as the nail caps. If the nail cap is too large, you can shorten the open end of the nail cap until it fits. Note: Do not trim kittens claws before applying nail caps. You need a sufficient claw area to allow the glue to stick properly. 3. Fill each nail cap with a little glue, stick only part of the nail (approx. 1/3, never fill it too full to prevent the glue from overflowing). Wait until the glue in the nail cap is half dry. (Please be careful and avoid falling glue on your hands or your cat's fur, when you do, remove it with nail polish remover or dispersant.) 4. Grasp your cat's claws, slide the coat slightly to the side around the nail and expose the nail. Place the nail caps on the claw and make sure they are fully wrapped. Wait until the glue is dry and proceed to the next nail. 5. Watch your cat for at least 5 minutes to ensure the nail caps are safe. We recommend that you distract your cat or feed their favorite food immediately after applying all nail caps. Notes: 1. Most cats will like their new claws, but some cats will refuse. In general, they will get used to them after the first wear and without any discomfort. 2. Different cats, different movements and locations (such as cement, grass, floor, carpet) etc., different wear rate of nail caps. Some wear for 3-5 days may wear out.
