Bought this for wildfire smoke but it’s also great and I didn’t realize this now. I can see your steaks and chicken in the house and not worry about smoking up the house because I don’t have outside ventilation sure I can open a window but who wants to do that while you’re cooking and you have central air turned on so this thing will quite literally eat the smoke that you produce while you’re cooking and it does it very quickly within 20 minutes. The whole house is clear out. This machine is very expensive, but it’s also worth it. It’s quiet it sits in the background idling waiting for the next smoke event when smoke appears it eats it then it goes quiet again. You never know this thing is there give it a corner set it and forget it. It works perfectly great design great machine buy it with confidence. It works well.! As filter replacement goes, I’m not sure yet. I’ve only had it for a couple of months, but from the looks of it, the filter will last six months to a year like they say..

This is such a great air filter! I love that it gives you the ppm reading. It also has a switch to turn off all the lights if you use it in a room to sleep.

Air purifier works great and is pretty quiet. I bought to see if it would help his breathing due to COPD. He says it’s helping him and the noise it makes is like white noise when he sleeps.

I've been wanting a Coway air cleaner. I was alerted to a flash sale on here and decided I couldn't pass it up. I was first surprised by how big it is, but I was excited that a single one could take care of the whole house. I've been running it steadily for over a week. The air is cleaner. It's sensitive enough that when I cook downstairs, it steps up a little and works a little more. Very happy with it. I have a 3200 sq ft house, I put it in an open loft not far from the air return. I didn't spend much time on it. Just set it up and left it since then.

I’ve had a variety of air filter machines over the years, this 450 version is the best quality, largest version I’ve ever owned. It’s a beast of an air filter that very well made all the way down to the filter it uses. It’s also the most high-tech as to identifying air quality and adjusting automatically. I put this one in my basement that I am remodeling and it has done a great job of cleaning the air. The initial set up is difficult to figure out. You have to remove main filter and unwrap it, in that process you remove the grill/louver part which is a flexible plastic wrap-around design, and then it’s supposed to just snap back into place and is held by magnets on one side. I’ve yet to get it all lined back up correctly, but it still works. The instructions are of little help in this regard, but once you figure out where to pull at the bottom it comes off easily. A simple sticker the says, “pull here to remove cover” would fix this issue.

We live in Idaho and get inundated with smoke from fires every year. The smoke comes into the Valley and just sits for weeks on end. You can smell it and sometimes taste it and see the ash. These air purifiers are amazing! They left our house fresh smelling and the air clean! The only thing I would tell people is don't just pick the appropriate sq footage. Remember that you will need to take high ceilings into account. So, take your sq footage and multiply it by the height of your ceiling. You will need a bigger and/,or more purifiers than you think! I researched quite a few and we are very happy with these.
