Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson return as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades Freed, the climactic chapter based on the worldwide bestselling Fifty Shades phenomenon. Believing they have left behind shadowy figures from their past, newlyweds Christian and Ana fully embrace an inextricable connection and shared life of luxury. But just as she steps into her role as Mrs. Grey and he relaxes into an unfamiliar stability, new threats could jeopardize their happy ending before it even begins. Review: Well Worth The Purchase - I have fortunately had the chance to see and enjoy the previous Fifty Shades films at the movie theaters (including getting a chance to get at least one of the soundtracks for each film). Naturally, it was an easy decision for me to obtain out of pocket and watch this Fifty Shades Freed(Unrated Edition) film. Fifty Shades Freed shows the new lifestyle and home that Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Ana Grey (Dakota Johnson) have created together. A multiple number of actors and actresses come together to be a part of the professional andor personal life of the Greys’. There are both multiple happy moments and moments of thrilling drama that encompass the plot of this film. I enjoyed the previous two films yet I would say that Fifty Shades Freed is among the best of the three. The only caveat I had to this film was that one of the point of tests in the Greys’ relationship came over an issue that a moviegoer would be far from surprised if they were middle class yet still came about because of their wealth. I admit that what I am referring to was noticed by my husband as he was lovingly glancing over me watching this film less than 23 hours ago from time to time. Ideally you want to try to watch the previous two films in order to understand what is going on in the third yet this film could also be a good standalone film for those who are novices to seeing the Fifty Shades Freed film. However, I am glad to have taken a chance and actually purchased this film to watch it as many times as I want as both Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan played their roles effortlessly as if they were born to embody the Greys’ and I liked the happy moments shown (when the positive dynamics where shown of how they were being treated/encouraged/appreciated by some of their friends and family). Review: I can't even - Didn't even read the books. This is my favorite movie trilogy of all fxcking time. Like, honestly. There is a great storyline of a hardened man who refuses to acknowledge his demons by punishing women for pleasure. Ana comes along out of the blue opens his world to other possibilities. She is patient with him and wants him to know she is a safe place because he feels like a safe place for her. Eventually he realizes that and it's expressed in the 2nd and 3rd movie. I don't even care if these movies are unrealstic and have seen backlash from the BDSM community. It's not supposed to be based on legitimate, strict rules in real life; it's an adaptation of it. I love the safe word, I love the chains, the cuffs, the back arching, the abs, the torn jeans, the passion, Anastasia's innocence. I'm a bit of a nympho and a hopeles romantic myself, so anything with passionate sex and cute romance gets me. I wanted to watch these movies outside of the hype from when they first came out and I'm glad I did. Now I can enjoy them without actually having weird women ask me if I've seen them out of nowhere. Also, Jamie Dornan is Irish. His American accent and his Irish accent are just to absolutely die for. This man did a great job. And Dakota was amazing with her role as an innocent and unknowing love interest. I loved it, no shame, take it!

I can't even

In my Opioion on behalf of the 1st Amendment
Whelp, let me start off by saying I don't write reviews often but when I do it's because I really LOVE something, and let me tell you something! First, I have to make know, I got a Kindle Fire for Christmas 🎄 of 2012 and my mom when it came in the mail (because my brother and I always get to choose our 2 "big" -aka expensive- gifts) she asked me what books I wanted, and after Christmas coming back from college for winter break and listening to all the girls reading a page/discussing it/etc. I was like I gotta have it, so I told my mom I wanted the series; therefore she got it for me AND I read them ALL on Christmas Day and the next morning and was finished by 11a the next morning -- a lot of hot chocolate was drank and candy canes stirred in, and cookies eaten, let me tell you🤗🤣 Next, I was kinda iffy && excited when I heard about the books being made into movies, but to be honest more iffy than excited because it was more of that fear that they were going to "duck"😉 it up (like my mom said they did, in her opinion🤷🏼♀️🤦🏻♀️) Finally, the conclusion now that I've seen the FINAL one (so happy the rumor they were going to split it in 2 was put to rest fast!) and then watched all 3 after re-reading the books for the 1,000+ time, I have to say they closed this series off BEAUTIFULLY! I know there was some mixed reviews, especially about this being abuse (being a daughter having grown up in a house of abuse, both emotional and psychical, to me and mom I know what it looks like and it NOT that, but we all have our own opinions - after all, it is AMERICA & we are ALL protected by the 1st Amendment right. In my opinion, the finished off Christian & Ana's story beatifully, realistly, and romantically!

Great film to a fun and sexy film series
It is true I did not read the books but the fifty shades series are very good films. Are they sexy? Yes but the amount of nudity in the films is not as pronounced as I thought they would be. They are not x-rated. They are adult films with some sex involved in it and some nudity but not at the x-rated format and that makes a fun adult film series to watch.

Definitely the best movie in the trilogy
By now pretty much anyone getting the movie knows what the series is, and what it is not. This film definitely has the most story to it. Parts of it are a bit silly, but it definitely introduces kind of a thriller aspect (mostly in the form of Ana's ex-boss, Hyde). It also delves deeper into Ana and Christian's relationship now that they are married (which happens at the very beginning of the movie). While it is still not an awards contender in any category (except maybe cinematography), it makes for an enjoyable wrap-up to the franchise. For those who get the 4k disc, the movie looks and sounds great. Some of the visuals (especially when they are in the mountains) really pop in UHD. Like was the case for the other movies, the UHD disc just has the two versions of the movie. The rest of the behind the scenes, deleted scenes, and music videos that make up the bonus material (about an hour's worth altogether) are on the regular blu-ray disc. Overall, I would say if you liked or loved the other movies you will probably feel the same about this one. If you hated the other ones, then this is not going to do anything for you. If you come in with realistic expectations for it, that it is a decent, but certainly not the greatest romance movie, it is enjoyable.

Loved it but we would love so much more.
I loved the Unrated version. They should have had that version in the theaters. Now here is the thing that I wish they would do as an Anniversary for Fifty Shades. I would love for them to have all the deleted scenes added to the Unrated versions of the movies. I did a poll and over 250 people have said they would buy it completed like that. I hate having to see the deleted scenes as extras. If they just were added to the movie it would flow so much better. Plus I'm sure there are scenes that were never even used for deletions and just extra and put away. So come on Universal, we would like an UNCUT/UNRATED version of all the movies with ALL the deleted scenes added to the movie to run straight through.
