Are these supposed to be crunchy, or more jelly-like, similar to the Cactus Candy brand? Mine are very crunchy

Seems to me they should be jelly-like mine were. The sugar on the outside had a very mild crunch. The jelly candy itself should not be completely crunchy.

The individual candies are not wrapped. Each sits in it own space similar to eggs in an egg carton.
