I have decades of kitchen experience, beginning at age seven cooking alongside my mother for large family gatherings and later working in the restaurant and hospitality industry. I’ve been considering a sushi knife for some time but remained hesitant. After reading the reviews, I decided to try this one and it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I opened the box, the quality was immediately apparent. The knife feels solid and well-balanced, arrived razor sharp, and features a beautifully finished handle. What makes this even more impressive is the price: I paid under $20 including tax, which is exceptional for the level of craftsmanship offered. This is a well made, functional knife that performs far above its price point. I’m very pleased with the purchase and expect it to remain a dependable part of my kitchen for years to come.

This knife is well built and made of good steel that holds it's edge really well. I don't give it 5 stars because it widens out at the top of the blade too far for my liking.

The knife is very sharp easy to use. I just advised beginners to be very careful when handling the knife. I did use the knife to cook fish, some sashimi and nigiri and the life cuts to perfection.
