Kicking Horse Happy Camper Ground Coffee, 10 Ounce - Certified Organic, Fairtrade, Kosher Coffee

Ordered three times so far. Ive tried other espresso blends but this is by far my favorite. Its subtle, no burnt taste and its certified organic, Swiss water processed for decaf and half caffeine (no chemicals used), and it's third party tested for mold and mycotoxins. Its also half the price compared to similar brands. Can't beat it.

I've tried a lot of different coffees, and Kicking Horse Happy Camper is one of the few that I've actually reordered. The flavor is smooth, balanced, and easy to enjoy every morning. It has enough richness to be interesting without tasting burnt or overly bitter, and it brews consistently whether I'm making a full pot or just a single cup. What keeps bringing me back is how good I feel after drinking it. Compared to many other coffees I've tried, the experience seems much smoother and more balanced throughout the morning. I feel focused and ready to get things done without feeling overstimulated. Combined with the great taste and quality, it's become one of my go-to coffees and an easy 5-star purchase for me.

Awesome new coffee blend, I accidentally ordered the pre-ground stuff because it was on sale for $10 for a pound of it and it was good. Next time I’d go for the whole bean version.

I've been a Kicking Horse buyer for several years... This one is a bit 50/50. It's definitely not a medium roast and is 100% light roast. I've made it drip, pour over and french press... Has a subtle but pleasant aroma of fresh graham cracker and mild chocolate. The palate is coffee forward, nice and mild to start your day. Caffeine boost is there however. Of course it went on sale after I bought it but no worries. I only gave 4-stars because of claiming to be medium (again not a deal breaker). Acidity is low. Roast is light. As always quality is present. Enjoy your cup of caffé today!

So here’s the deal: Kicking Horse coffee feels like it was brewed right out of the back room of a record shop somewhere between a Pearl Jam cassette and a stack of dog-eared poetry zines. The aroma is vintage, man! It’s bold, but not in-your-face corporate bold—the kind of bold that sits with you in a chipped mug while you pull an all-nighter scribbling lyrics no one will hear. It’s affordable, which matters when you’re living off open mic nights and secondhand flannel. And more importantly—it’s good. Like, actually good. Dark, rich, smooth… none of that burnt diner sludge. Just the kind of coffee that makes you want to lean back in a creaky chair, combat boots on the table, and let the rain soundtrack your thoughts.

First, I tried the Smart Ass, medium roast. All it did what make me bitchy! Second, I chose the Kick Ass, dark roast. I liked it, but made me a bitchy, shaky ass... So, I thought, "Maybe I need the Three Sisters?""... But they did NOT satisfy me at all! So, the fourth I tried the New, Happy Camper! Another medium roast, but very satisfying, tasty blend... And now I am definitely a Happy Camper and the bitchy, smarty ass has left the building! ... Whew! Wasn't sure if I was gonna make it through... Good energy, but not shaky and I love the organic, certified Kosher product... Keep up the good work, Kicking Horse!

The delivery was quick. The coffee is good. Well balanced- If a bit sweet. My problem is it's not quite dark enough of a roast for the full bodied experience I wanted.

​I switch coffees often depending on what I can find for a good price, but this one really stands out. It has a wonderful aroma and is incredibly smooth. While I would prefer to drink it straight, I blend it with a cheaper brand to stretch my budget. Even when mixed, the quality is strong enough to give the coffee a nice punch. It’s a great choice for anyone who wants a premium taste while making their dollar go further.
