I bought these for my senior dog who has lost a lot of weight. They were too hard for him to chew. I tried breaking it up and putting it in his food but then he wouldn’t eat his food. So it defeated the purpose even more. Very disappointing.

When you have a picky eater who is a little too much on the skinny side, this is a great meal supplement. Also look up the great 'pill crusher ' which makes these an easy powder to put on meals in the food bowl. Powder on food sure beats trying to get a dog to swallow a pill.
