When you use these to bring hot dishes out the oven, you can still get burned, the honeycomb is raised but the inside of each cone is not heat resistant, I know this because I felt the heat when I was taking out my bread from the hot oven. I would use as trivet but not to take anything from a hot oven.

These are great, I use them for taking pans out of the oven and as a place mat for hot objects. I love how flexible they are but also that the rubber like material grips the item your holding so can be used to take hot bowls or plates to the table easily. Only downside is cleaning. if your washing by hand it can be quite difficult to get in all the little crevices and they take a while to dry.

Wanted something to put on my quartz worktop to protect against damage or to put on my dining table to hold hot oven dishes or pans etc. Chose these for size and colour. As I was looking for a green blue and grey colour theme in my new kitchen and these selections fitted in well. In addition gave me a colour swab to work with on other kitchen accessories I will be purchasing. Thank you

These were my best buy for the new kitchen. Previously we had cork mats to protect the work surfaces but they did not wear well over time and started to leave corky bits in the cupboard. These silicon mats are so versatile, great for hot things coming out of he microwave, great for under dishes from the oven and pots from the hob. They are also super for lifting hot lids too. Easy to clean, just take a while to dry due to the honeycomb design.

We love this thing as it is very useful around the house. It is not only a great trivet but an excellent oven mitten, jar lid opener, padding for the screwdriver when you need the torque. It can withstand great heat and torsion and is quite flexible. You can even combine two trivets for bigger pots or baking trays. However, it can be tricky to wash it if you spill something on it or if it gets dirty as it has a small honeycomb pattern. But it can be cleaned well regardless.We would definitely recommend it!

A bit of a faff to clean if you spill anything on or over it. It grips worktop very very well - sometimes too well Plus of course it acts as an insulator and prvents burn marks to wooden or plastic surfaces.I dont understand why they sell in pairs as I only need one. I gave the other away so if proved a bit expensive compared to similar items

I've been using my silicone trivets for several weeks now and I love them. I have them hanging on a hook right next to the hob so I can grab one when a pan comes off the heat. They do a good job of protecting our natural wood worktops. They're easy to clean too. A quick scrub with a washing up brush and they're good as new. They're very flexible so I can see how you could use them instead of oven gloves, though I haven't personally done that with them as yet. Overall, I'm very happy with them.

These are great worktop protectors that can also be used to handle hot stuff out of the oven. They’re smaller than I expected but the two together are great.The downside is cleaning them. You have to use a brush to get into every little hexagon, plus draining or drying them is a bit of a pain, too. Still recommend them though.
