I never thought I’d describe toothpaste as “fun,” but here we are... I bought this Boka strawberry mango flavor for my toddler — I figured he would enjoy this over a mint flavor because what kid enjoys a harsh, burning feeling? It smells fruity and tastes like a smoothie. We are still practicing brushing but this toothpaste helps encourage the importance of daily teeth maintenance. Also, I love that it’s fluoride-free and I am not worried if it's swallowed. It is pricier than I would prefer, but it has lasted so long that I've came to terms that it's worth the cost.

As a chemical-conscious mom I appreciate this toothpaste because the taste is good for my picky and sensory sensitive kids, it foams like regular toothpaste, and is sensitive for their mouths. My oldest had a cavity forming on one tooth and after using this toothpaste as directed it was gone at the next visit (not medical advice). It’s very effective and keeps their teeth pearly white.

When trying this product on my two toddlers, I noticed the freshness was not so fresh. The main issue I had with the flavor was it didn’t help their breath smell good. That was definitely on me for not realizing beforehand that it’s better to purchase mint flavor. My girls had B.O the entire time using it but I can’t say for certain if it was mainly because the toothpaste wasn’t doing its job or other things like food and beverages. They were getting their teeth brushed three times a day if that helps give an idea as to how often they had their teeth brushed. I ended up switching to another toothpaste. This new toothpaste has helped their B.O. so far, but it’s only been a week so I’ll report on that later down the line. On the upside, I definitely could tell the whitening in their teeth was there and they have had nothing but compliments about their teeth from strangers and their dentist who we see twice a year. They never showed any discomfort or any issues while using the toothpaste. The B.O. was just really bad so I switched their toothpaste and also looked into what foods and beverages cause B.O and I think that helped my little problem.

I switched my son to this toothpaste and it has been great! I haven’t noticed whitening, but his teeth do look good and clean after he has brushed. He loves the flavor. And he is one to complain about “spicy” toothpaste. This toothpaste has never been whined about in my household. In fact, switching to this toothpaste has made brushing his teeth simpler because he enjoys the flavor so much. I have noticed it doesn’t foam up like other toothpaste’s do. Another side story, and probably the biggest thing, I think this is actually shrinking my sons cavities. His pediatric dentist told me he would need fillings before his teeth could fall out at 12 (12 year molars). I saw the cavities on the xrays. A year later, the cavities are smaller. And the dentist said if things can maintain this way, there will be no need for fillings! He does brush morning and night, and often after lunch because we homeschool and he has that ability. But I’m just thrilled that my son could potentially avoid this procedure!
