This unit performs amazingly. My previous AC was a window model "rightsized" for my 500 sq ft basement bedroom. And it failed miserably. This thing is a beast by comparison, but it purrs like a kitten. Very little noise so it is easy on the ears to leave on all night. It gets my room down to 62 degrees in only a couple of hours and then keeps it that way. My very highest recommendation goes with this unit. Setup was a breeze and it does a good job of circulating air around the room without creating a draft. No worries about water drainage inside either. Whatever water it is making goes right out with the exhaust. The wheels make it easy to move on my LVP flooring... no worries about the weight.

Very happy with this purchase! It’s a huge upgrade for us and I’m really happy with it. It was packaged well and super easy to unpack and install (only about 20 minutes total). The instructions were easy to understand and helpful. It’s SUPER quiet and cooled my large bedroom quickly! The remote is awesome. I used to have to get up to turn the ac off when I got too cold so I really love having the remote. Overall, I’m super happy with this purchase and impressed with the quality!

This is my 3rd year and still cools great! It’s quiet and efficient. The self evaporating system is the ONLY way to go! Would definitely recommend.

From the time I cut the strapping and tape to the time it was cooling the room was under 15 minutes. This is super easy to set up, and runs so quietly! The instructions are easy to follow and all of the needed items are in the box, so there's no confusion. It cools the room so evenly (no hotspots in the room like our previous window unit) and gently, my dad slept through the initial setup and operation. I previously had a window unit in that space that wasn't nearly as effective and it was so loud by comparison. I love that it has a remote control that will allow someone to adjust it from across the room. It also has a sleep/away timer, can be set to cool or dry (or just a fan), and you can set whether it has a steady airflow or if it sweeps. But most of all, it's just so quiet! My only issue was that the supplied window panels (for the exhaust) didn't quite fit in my window. My window is too wide for the single panel, but too narrow for the sliding double panel. It was an easy fix, just applying some insulation to the open space next to the panel. We've already hit the 90's in our area, and I am so glad to have this fully installed!

First off, read the description CLOSELY. They put 14,000 BTU up and front (in the title, in the button you click to purchase) but it is not, functionally, 14,000. There are two standards and 14,000 is the perfect conditions science setting which this is not. It's 10,000 for the more accurate standard. So if you're looking for 14,000 AC, look elsewhere. They also throw the word smart around in the description, but it is not a smart AC. They also use <48dB in their advertising under the caption of "Quiet" - that means *greater than* 48db. Basically, this product description is particularly set up to catch people who are purchasing quickly and then don't want to deal with returning a heavy item. Proceed with caution. The window boards are awkwardly sized. I have a pretty standard size window for the US (26 inches), and one board is too small but too boards will not work without cutting one. The quick start directions do not include sufficient info on how to install in your window. It jumps straight to "install in window" but there's a random piece you need to do so that's tucked in one of the bags. It's LOUD - like I don't think I can take work calls while it's running level of loud. My app clocked it at 59-61db, even in night time mode. Energy guide sticker estimates yearly energy cost at $123, which is higher than others I've seen. Basically, I am so pissed off at how misleading this product profile is framed as that even without knowing if it can cool the space I need it to cool I'm considering returning it.

Originally bought two and liked them well enough that I bought another one. Overall, I am satisfied though I think there could be improvements made. 1st, it would be wonderful if there were hepa and charcoal filters available. 2nd, under the outside air intake hose is a grill that allows air to come into the house from outside. I don't see that grill on any other brand of portable air conditioners and the diagram in the manual does not identify it or its purpose. 3rd, and 4th have to do with the window kit. I did not see online or in the manual anything about the window kit needing to be cut to fit. Once we called the company it was easy enough to cut with the Dewalt. Customer service was quick with instructions. 4th, the window kit is very lacking in sealing from outside air. You can see lots of daylight in various places especially where the hoses are attached to the kit. Plastic seals are provided but the fit is very lacking.

I have been fixing up a mobile home in Florida. It has been so hot in there that I decided to pick up this airconditioner. Glad I did. This thing is working great. Now I can work in comfort.

I hated draining portable AC’s like every 3-4hours but this AC you hardly ever have to drain and it works so well, my room that I keep it in is about 350 sq ft and it makes it cold within minutes! The settings are easy and the set up is also quite easy! I would definitely buy again 10000x over
