Can these coffee fruits be popped in the mouth like any dried fruit? Are they sweet or bitter?

These are not easy to eat like dried mangoes or similar because the skin is attached and when that part dries it is pretty hard. You can chew them but not many people like to do that. The taste is pretty interesting, sweet, tangy, and tannic. I've done it but after getting most of the flavor out, you'd probably want to spit out the skin.

It is a full pound. Twin Engine also sells a 4.2 oz package that comes in a clear zip-top bag. Looks like they messed up and shot the product with the wrong label on this bag. Again, this product contains a full pound of coffee fruit tea.
