These are fantastic for anyone in the hydroponic/aquaponic world, private or commercial. I own a company that builds custom facilities and we use GrowGrips all the time. They stand up to use and are far more user friendly than alternative materials such as Rockwool (no glass in the fingers). Currently we are using these in commercial applications overseas in armenia and africa, as they are reusable. We also have had a great time using them in aquaponic systems in middle schools, where we cannot use fiberglass based products, as we don't have to worry about kids playing with them or putting them in their mouths. One of the greatest uses for these units is rooting cuttings. Many of our facilities produce large quantities of herbs and fruiting plants. The GrowGrips easily and gently hold the cutting in place while it roots. One client of ours using GrowGrips for starting rose cuttings of root stock. The grips allow the plants to root in a small hydroponic system and then the plant can easily be removed from the grip and planted in soil or media beds, the GrowGrip can then be used again. I highly suggest this product to anyone looking for an alternative to other expensive, one-time-use products.

these work great for lettuces, bigger items (tomatoes, swiss chard) they worked but got destroyed in a single use. Probably need to bump up to 2" size next time.

Overall a good idea and decent value. I use it for my hydroponics lettuce channels. Only problem is it's about 3/4 inch too short. Once in a while, it's slip all the way into the channel and has to be fished out. Pain in the arse. GrowGrip, make it a bit taller would you?

Blocks the light perfectly when I am sprouting many seeds for the aerogarden as to keep the light off the water base and wasting my nutrients. Have not tried it for intended purpose yet. But I am sure I will get around to it.

These little things work really well they're really small wish they made them in a 2-inch this round size get five stars because they do work very well using about a hundred of these right now

These work perfect in beaver plastic trays for hydroponics excellent and lettuce I love these things cleanest way to grow by far

Second time purchasing these. They last me about a year. Able to be reused many time. Love them.
