IFAK Trauma Kit Standard with CAT Tourniquet Camouflage

I have 4 different IFAK kits distributed amongst vehicles and backpacks and this one is by far the best. Stuffed with name brand gear and well packaged in a high quality pouch. I added my own chest seals and rubber gloves but other than that a solid kit with about as much as you can get without going to a full on trauma bag. The only downside I can see is it's noticeable bigger than expected. If your looking for one to go on a drop leg or plate carrier type operation this is gonna be a bit obnoxious like that.

Great kit to have in emergency I carry it in my Jeep . Never know when you will need a trauma Kit . I would buy it again. I recommend this .

We did a hard hike in a remote area. I felt safer having it, lots of good items, I bought specifically for tourniquet and pressure bandage. Light enough that it was worth taking. Bigger than I expected. I keep it in my car now.

This appears very well organized and well made with tear away pouch and the camo color was nice. Items within the kit are quality and should be waterproof since each is wrapped in a plastic bag. Note that this kit does not contain an oral or nasal airway, no chest seal and no hemostatic gauze so consider buying those separately and adding to kit. I think this was good value for money and was able to purchase with HSA money (before the money was lost).

Pavked with just what you need. CAT Tourniquet is a big plus.

TLDR: One of the few, best off the shelf emergency medical kits I have found. Quality components (different experience than another review). But, NO CHEST SEAL. significant issue IMO, but can't ignore the rest of the kit. Dusclaimer: I am not a first responder who might use the items in the kit on a regular basis and would thus have a better reference on the specific durability of the components beyond practice and training. Generally good quality for the price, for what I received. The bag is good quality and durable fabric. The zippers are pretty smooth and tend to not catch. Multiple varieties of attachment to various items; molle, detachable clip strap, and top carry handle. I haven't noticed any stitching or other quality issues. Unlike another review, the tourniquet was seemingly a CAT certified tourniquet, and the sheers appear the same as the photos, and are at least not bad. Not as good as higher quality sheers, but good for more than a couple uses, unlike some cheaper sheers. My biggest complaint is that this kit doesn't have a chest seal. The quick-guide medical instruction booklet that included with the kit even contains the step-by-step on how to use a chest seal. It has all the other components referenced in the booklet, but not a chest seal. I had to add my own separate chest seal, and there was even room for it to fit. Overall good product and components, but lacking chest seal.

Fabulous product. 4th one I’ve bought, now giving as gifts to friends. Well organized, easy to keep track of materials, and great selection for the price! I keep one in my car, and one in my office. Fits anywhere!

Thus first aid kit is great! I bought it for my son when he goes hunting or hiking or anything outdoors. He lives it, love the added safety precaution fir just in cases because you just don't know what might hapoen. I bought a few extra items to go with it just to make sure he had plenty. But over all it is a great first aid kit, has pretty much everything you need. Will buy the items tonteplace as he uses them & I love that they have refill kits for it.
