Grows and Grows and Grows ...
Java moss is good quality, healthy, and growing well in my shrimp tank and freshwater aquarium. Stated off a bit brownish, but quickly greened up beautifully and continues to grow and grow. Great purchase.

Do not buy! Plant caused an infestation of detritus worms.. yuck!!
I’m so mad! 1) these plants caused an infestation of detritus worms in my shrimp tank. They’re eeeeverywhere and it’s disgusting. I can’t really do a deep water change because I have shrimplets in the tank and I don’t want them to get sucked up. 2) I didn’t get anywhere near the amount or the quality of the description picture. It’s advertised so lush and green but I got a tiny baggie of dying plant. I forgot to take a picture straight out of the package but I have pictures after I separated it into my tank 3) delivery was delayed from 2/27 to 3/3 and no live plant sticker for the carrier to even know to take extra care with it. 4) the box came with a contact email so I messaged the seller expressing my dissatisfaction and asked for a replacement as it’s a non-returnable item. Although they apologized, the seller would only send a replacement if I purchased another set of plants because they didn’t want to pay the $5 shipping cost just to send me a replacement. I’m so disappointed and I just got my shrimp tank together and healthy prior to this plant addition. Stay away from this!

Healthy Java moss
The Java moss arrived fast. It was packaged well and was not melted or brown. I rehydrated it and gave it’s a little quarantine with daily water changes to make sure there was no hitch hikers which I was happy there appears not to be any. The Java moss is healthy and thriving, already growing in the moss ball forms. Although I feel like the amount was small in size I am happy with the quality that arrived and hope it continues to grow.

Healthy Plants Arrived Quickly
I was very pleased to receive this quickly (meaning faster than most other orders). It was sent in its own box, and was sealed in a water tight bag. It was mostly green, and in excellent condition. I planted it in my aquarium by tying it with thread, onto a small piece of driftwood and onto another imitation log. It’s only been few days, but it seems to be doing well. If I should need more aquatic plants, I will order them from this supplier. EXCELLENT.

A gamble on how much you get
Came in a small little bag, and a bit of the clump was brown and a dark green. Separated it a bit and stuck it in my aquarium, tying some to lava rocks and letting others just float or sink wherever. After a while didn't think it was gonna grow, but eventually after like a month or two noticed a bunch of very small tiny green shoots popping up all over the moss branches. Also it seems these little green shoots are actually attaching themselves to the rocks. So it will grow, but takes a while to adapt and needs light to do so. Edit/Update: So updating this review, and lowering my review score... Made another order for this since the first one was so good. When the second one came, what I got was beyond disappointing. The first I ordered came in a little bag that was FULL and gave me enough to cover multiple rocks - like 4-6 rocks. The second order I got gave me a bag with a TINY little pathetic clump that didn't even fill half the small bag it came in. Was only enough for two tiny little rocks. I would not recommend this as it's a gamble as to whether you get a tiny clump or not. The second batch was not worth the money spent and the time it took to get delivered. I got so little the second time I could literally have cut off a small bit from the first batch that grew in another aquarium and I would have had more than what they sent me the second order. Also one more thing, while the first order was great and grew very BIG I did get detritus worms, lots of tiny worms that just appeared out of nowhere and judging by some of the other reviews on here it seems they probably came from this moss. I attached a picture that shows the comparison. First pic was my first order, and second pic was the pathetic clump I got in my second order.
